Awww....let me take care of you and give you cuddles.

Okay so that didn't go the way I planned. I wanted THREE GOOD SOLID MINUTES of Yangha MTBD annnnnd....EVERYONE ELSE HAD ONE. He was the most calm and put together. Damn it all to hell and back. Hopefully this means an actual break is coming. I'm NOT sadistic, I swear, but he's been a little unemotional and unfeeling shit the whole show and I need proof to see that he's at least screwed up by all of this. It's the only way I can believe any piece of sincerity in him. There's two episodes left, how much true sincerity can he show?
I kinda had a feeling he would be stupid and go "My father is my father, blah blah, Yoon Yangha talk blah blah" except, he can't open up his eyes to see how his father used him. Really [ Insert 진짜 here] bro? Maybe he should just go ahead and stay and a Yoon because Jangs can't be that stupid on purpose....lol.
Not going to lie, the way Youngdal was calling after Yangha in the manner of Dongchul calling after Dongwoo....it got to me. Just a tad. I'm glad Dongsoo snapped out of it and saw that Taejoon wouldn't have been better for Yangha at all. I love all the hyung line moments and I'd hope that Yangha would be able to have that, too. The split moment it took for Youngdal to find out Yangha was his baby brother...everything for him changed. His ill feelings toward Yangha were gone...and I found that bittersweet.
Random...but I really love the "no nonsensenseness" of this drama. They don't beat around the bush with telling each other things and I don't have to wait two years for someone to know the truth [ Talking RIGHT at To The Beautiful You....which I just started watching and am practically 3 episodes from finishing...lol.]. You find out new information and by the end of the episode the person who should know it, knows it.
Jaejoong crying like that makes me sad. Personally, I'd have to dig deep to produce tears like that....and there's not telling how long that could take.

Date: 2014-07-18 01:54 am (UTC)I'll be devastated if the grandpa dies. Fuck the CEO. He's horrible. I hope he'll either die at the end or serve some jail time. Also, can skunk-hair boss die already? He's so useless and dumb, nothing he ever "plans" works out on his favor.
Anyway, I really liked the scene where Youngdal goes to Junghee's house and her brother calls him brother-in-law. It was cute. I can't shake off the feeling that they won't have a happy ending... together.

Also OP there are 4 episodes left due to a 2 episode extension...haven't you noticed all the EXTRA flashbacks on top of what already used to take up half the episode?

Date: 2014-07-18 05:32 am (UTC)The person I'm really pissed at is the second-hand ajusshi who randomly decided to confess to Yangha's father. That cemented my belief that he had yangha adapted to absolve his own selfish guilt, rather than for actual good will toward yangha. It also highlights Korea's view of mental health, and how it is not seen as a legitimate issue. Everyone kept bringing up Yangha's anxiety and depression, yet somehow the ajusshi and the older bro still thought it would be better for him to live as a rich kid. Wtf? I'm so glad Youngdal put an end to that.
I am also constantly pleased with Tom and Jerry for telling junghee about what's going on with Youngdal. They get all the love. <3<3 so I can't wait for the last two episodes. I have a feeling it will be absolutely amazing.

Date: 2014-07-18 09:30 am (UTC)Still scared that something will happen to Youngdal. But this drama has inspired a lot of trust in me with how characters are developed. So, maybe it'll turn out okay.
The women characters remain flawlessly interesting and complex.
'Brother-in-law scene' absolutely slayed me. That was THE SWEETEST!
That last scene looked like a trap to me. Like Youngdal will go to the hospital and get fucked up in an ambush. In which case, maybe Yangha will guess as much and stop or warn him. I feel like we're going to see Yangha flip in the next episode in a more apparent way.
It would be pretty rad if Yangha figures out a way to take over the casino, screw over his "father" and his thugs, and make that massive deal with T-ara heiress chick instead of Youngdal. Once the casino is in good hands, it will be okay for Youngdal and Junghee to go off and live happily ever after.
Whatever happens, gonna be thrilling for the last episodes.

Date: 2014-07-18 01:03 pm (UTC)That said, I'm so in love with the way that Boss Min sees Youngdal practically as a son and that everyone works so hard to take care of him. Like after all the shit he's had to go through in his life, he actually has a family now. Yeah, they still are gangsters but...at least he's on their good side lmfao.
Also, the whole "Brother-in-law" scene made me smile so much. Like...idk the fond smile and hope on Youngdal's face was just...ugh. My heart ;; I swear if anything happens to our main couple a g a i n, I'm gonna chuck my laptop.
