Eleven celebrities live together in close quarters as they share the cooking, cleaning and everyday chores around the house. Will they become close friends? Develop deeper relationships? Or find themselves fighting each other and making enemies? The celebrities include Park Chan Yeol (EXO), Hong Soo Hyun, Jo Se Ho, Lee Dong Wook, Lee So Ra, Na Na (After School), Park Bom (2NE1), Park Min Woo, Seo Kang Joon (5urprise), Shin Sung Woo, and Song Ga Yeon.

I'm enjoying the show, but at this point, have any of the cast NOT ruined their image? Bom, Nana, Soohyun, Kangjun, Minwoo... Basically sacrificed to bring in ratings. The editing is so bad, I really can't believe how/why the directors/editors are choosing the scenes they are.

the producers are the dudes from strong heart - they love some good scandals. i remember the ratings for that show were pretty bad in the end but stars kept getting into trouble because one thing they said in passing would get publicized in articles and netizens go apeshit over them.

I started watching this show for bom & nana, and I really like the rest of the cast...but I've gotten bored. I didn't even finish last week's episode, and I'm 30 minutes into this one, and I'm finding it hard to care. Does it get better?

Yes imo. The first part of this episode (and last week's) were pretty boring but it does get better eventually. I liked this episode a lot tbh, there were some ridic parts but overall it was fun to watch.

i don't watch korean shows often so i don't really get how stuff works...but does this show just continue until it's cancelled or something? like there's not a set amount of episodes for one season?

Finally the two blandest members of the house were given a task to make themselves more interesting. KangYeol was such a delight in this episode. Dumb and dumber tbh. They're like eager schoolchildren in charge of a class trip lol. And for once Chanyeol feels like a hyung to Kangjoon.

I like Minwoo but somehow he's always the source of tension in the house, and he's slowly getting on my nerves too. I think the PD hates him or something cos every damn conflict and fake drama revolves around him. I know it's scripted but it's still annoying. However the part with him spying on KangYeol as they were planning the trip was hilarious, I can't imagine the show without him.

I really loved this episode, I think it's my favorite. There's so much unnecessary drama and sensationalizing going on but for some reason I still enjoy the chill, lighthearted scenes, like the car ride with Chanyeol's team (I was cracking up at the Catallena remix and Seho coaching everyone on voice imitation). The trout fishing in the end was pretty entertaining too, lol at Dongwook and Chanyeol showing off with their fishing rods but failing to catch fish unlike the others.

Mte. He's one of the members who are comfortable with everybody and makes anneffort to get to know all the members. He's cool but everything they show is about drama.

The weakest link in this entire show isnthe crew tbh. Thos ein charge of edditting and directing.

IA, I like Min Woo, but there's always drama/something negative around the scenes they show with him. And now I hear ppl are making it a Kang Jun vs Min Woo thing. People are apparently drinking the Kool-Aid and taking things way too seriously (as per usual).

Ga Yeon is such a nice kid. She's really sweet with everyone and she's generally precious!

Having said that, this episode felt...weird idk. I think it's a combination of editing and things being forced.
Like the amount of time spent on the whole who cleans the dishes thing, come on.
Also Min Woo felt off as well in this episode. Like i love him and his whole spying Chanyeol and Kang Joon was hilarious, but he didn't come across well in this episode.

And the whole incident with the car, for the life of me i can't understand why they showed all that. I know the ratings aren't great but they knew how people would react.

That editing, i will never get used to it. They make everything seem sooo dramatic and have to drag things out big time.
From the previews i thought this episode would feature their time in whatever place they went to, but nope they had to show everything along the way!
And i loved how Dong Wook appeared out of nowhere for a hot minute while Chanyeol and Kang Joon were making plans!

I've really grown to like all the Roommates but the last episodes weren't that great for me. (plus i brace myself for which episode will be the last Bom one :( )

LOL I went to the kitchen and when I got back, Dong Wook! I kept thinking someone was missing...but he's rarely ever there (:( 30+eps drama, jfc, I could not!) I forget that he's on the show sometimes.

They really tried with all the editing in the previews. So I'm guessing the ratings must still be low. Since the previews for eps 11 were so dramatic, and it wound up being not really that big of a deal, I'm going to assume next weeks previews are over dramatized as well.

I'm not even sure why I still enjoy this show, but I do. I like their interactions and seeing them gradually become more and more comfortable around each other.

I know I am in the minority here, but I really enjoy this show. The 2 hour long episodes are long, yes, I agree, and the editing is crazy. But I really love the connections they all have, they really picked a great group of people, and I really believe that these are friendships that will stay with them after the show as well. idk I will be really sad when this show gets cancelled. And when Bommie won't be on it of course.

I agree tbh, even with 2 hour long episodes and the crappy editing/forced drama i still enjoy the show. Idk they picked some good people and i really love their interactions. I like to think at least some of them will stay in contact after the show.

I'm still in denial about Bom leaving. :(

I felt bad for Minwoo. He made a mistake and you could tell he felt bad about it. He apologized and they forgave him. Everyone in that car was acting really annoyed and nhft cause of the broken air conditioner. I wish they had of gotten a new rental, it would have made everything a little better.
Also i'm slightly side eyeing at everyone in that car who could drive for not offering or saying something the, like, three times Minwoo said he was getting tired. No one said shit. Even if he wouldn't have let them drive they could have asked for a break or something. Idk, that just annoyed me a little.

Also it annoyed me that Chanyeol's team just basically went off on their own trip. I don't know about everyone else but when my family goes on trips with multiple cars we always stay together. Go to rest stops together, stop for food together and if not we at least call if someone needs to make a stop somewhere.

Overall I liked the episode, and this show, but this episode annoyed me quite a bit. Or maybe I'm just defensive about Minwoo cause I like him and his personality so much.

This comment is so long but one last thing. If they all argue I'll be kind of glad. I can't stand that they all basically tiptoe around each other or don't say anything if something bothers them. It's been 3 months and 11 people haven't argued yet? They have got to be holding stuff in.

He offered in the few minutes before it showed Minwoo doze off. And I think once way before that.

Minwoo should have let Kangjoon or Soohyun drive. But I kind of agreed with Minwoo on being worried about Kangjoon driving with the trailer. But I also think he at least should have let him drive on the way to pick it up. Right when they got in the car he admitted to not having slept much. To me, it seemed like the ladies just kept looking worried in the back seat instead of saying something.

Chanyeol being the hyung should've been more thoughtful of the other team and thought of a way for them to get another rental before they left Seoul. I was annoyed how he was all, "Haha not my problem" and hung up the phone on Kang Joon.

My fave part was when concerned Gayeon trying to cheer Minwoo up, she's cute af and now becoming one of my favorite cast in the show.
Also the part where Minwoo spying on Kangyeol lol

I can't believe that the whole episode was just some dirty kitchen drama + driving to the campsite drama. Poor Minwoo always getting the short end of the stick though, and smh at cutting out Bom and Kangjoon's excursion to the market. What is the point of stating that they don't mind Bom on the show if they keep editing her out anyway? Their short appearance in the car was already hilarious (and didn't it take place on the day Deok Hwa visited? This show and its editing...)

I think Minwoo was just in the wrong place and in the wrong time but I didn't like his attitude in this episode. Talking back to Sora and being stubborn about the driving was nagl. I actually wonder now if this is the reason why the girls prefer Kangjoon...Minwoo has a bit of a temper/stubbornness, it seems.
