Ticket Venue Employee Caught Selling Infinite Tickets Obtained Fraudulently

An Interpark employee who tried to sell Infinite concert tickets he obtained through fradulent means was caught and penalized.

Interpark Tickets announced on July 9, "We confirmed that a new employee used his monitoring authority on the day of the July 7 fanclub sales for Infinite′s That Summer 2 to purchase tickets. He also attempted to sell them outside of the site."

The notice put up on Interpark stated that the site monitors its employees using an anti-fraud system and conducts employee training regularly. The employee was able to get around the regulations, however, when the site was attempting to put new equipment and personnel in place.

He tried to sell the tickets through social networks and internet communities at a far more expensive price than the original price.

He was caught when a fan trying to purchase a ticket became suspicious of how the man had obtained so many tickets.

The July 7 sales were exclusively for fanclub members, and one person was allowed to purchase only one ticket per concert day. All 7,000 tickets opened this day also sold out fairly quickly.

Fueled by these suspicions, she used the man′s name to look him up, and found out that he was an Interpark employee.

Interpark stated that the employee will be penalized for his actions.

Man, get that girl a signed album and a selca with the band.It would've really sucked if people paid for the tickets to find out they were fake.

Oh I know :3
I mean I think I read your comment about that somewhere before.

Good decision tbh, currently I'm stanning like 3 groups and semi-stan a group (because I don't buy their CDs oop sry), it's overwhelming but I'm happy but at the same time idk if I should be happy lol. Doesn't make any sense, I know.

Talking about BtoB I was about to buy their Debut History DVD or w/e but I think Cube suddenly withdrew it from the market? Because I swear this shop still listed it in stock the day before but suddenly it was gone everywhere, like literally even on the Cube shop?

(Okay that doesn't sound like a question but I'm actually asking you a question lol)

Ticket profiteering always makes me so angry, so yay @ the fan who busted that asshole. It just pisses me off so much that people who aren't even fans of a group will buy up a bunch of tickets because they know they can make money by taking advantage of how much people like something.

worse is when they participate in the ticketing war as a "practice" for their oppa's concerts later.

It seems like a few places are trying to curb that now (at least where I am) by not giving actual tickets and having you scan the credit card you paid with instead, which does keep people from buying tickets to shows and re-selling them, but also kind of sucks if you're unable to go and can't get your money back or transfer the ticket to somebody else.

idk if that would work for all shows though, especially with younger-ish fans whose parents pay for their tickets but don't actually go to the concert with them.

meh i'm talking about the people who don't even care they buy the tickets or not, but they wait until the tickets are released right away (say midnight or noon) and attempt to reserve the tickets - adding more traffic to the site servers. if you have a shitty computer and bazillion people are competing for your tickets at the same time, you're gonna click that payment site and find out your tickets are already gone, you know?

and then you go on twitter and see these assholes bragging about how they snagged the tickets you wanted just as a practice run for their oppa's concert next month - pisses you off lulz
