Possible Wonder Girls Special Performance in Line for ′JYP Nation′ Concert

Some, though not all, of the Wonder Girls members may be appearing on the stage of JYP Nation for a special performance of the group′s hits.

Wonder Girls will not be able to perform as a group as Sunye and Sohee will not be appearing at the concert.

Leader Sunye is currently enjoying married life while Sohee is no longer signed with JYP Entertainment. She moved to BH Entertainment after her contract expired.

A source from JYPE told Newsen on July 9 about the matter, "We′re in talks about inviting Ye Eun, Yubin and Lim. There was also mention of a special performance."

JYP Nation is JYPE′s family concert and features all of the agency′s renowned singers. Park Jin Young, 2AM, 2PM, miss A, Sunmi, Baek Ah Yeon, 15& and Got7 have confirmed appearances.

It will be held in Seoul from August 9-10, while Hong Kong fans can meet the artists in Hong Kong on August 30 and Japanese fans in Tokyo from September 5-7.

Audio of the live performances from the concert will be released afterwards through Genie.

anyway, to me right now it is easier for sunye miracously decided to return to korea and her career than sohee to return to the stage.

also the article is somewhat incomplete, yubin and yenny pretty much will participate, while they are not sure if lim will because of her movie.

also, yenny and yubin have been in new york in the last weeks working in some mysterious project in which there is a lot of instagram and tweets deleting.

they really dropped the ball with them. when they debuted they really could've been the next big thing, they were so impressive but they fell all the way off as group.

terrible. and i used to stan so hard for jype...silently, of course.

they really did, they simply stopped promoting them and pretty much worked in self sabotage of the group, canceling university shows and other appearances, in a way aqe back then helped sistar to reach the position they are in.

they could be so much bigger, but the company didn't even try, they didn't build a fan dom or gave the girls or the fans anything, the way they are handling got7 right now makes me so bitter because they are giving them (and doubling) everything the girls didn't have, when the girls have more success, popularity and acceptance.

yup, nothing against them, but they are only in their current position because jype did for them what they did to snsd, removed their biggest competition that when promoting they had no chance against, and gave them room to grow.

I chose to forever ignore whatever JYPE says about Miss A and keep being fed with the news I get from the girls, here and there. My guess is that they probably will be too busy with JYP nation concert and intend to debut the new girl group before Miss A's comeback. It's probably going to be in november again.

Lim won't be there either, she's filming for a movie. But there's a good chance Yeeun and Yubin will be and I couldn't be more excited. I really hope Sunmi sing with them. I'll certainly be missing the other half of my girls but I will take whatever I can get after two years without them.

she's still signed w/ jyp i think. even when she got married and had a baby there was some sort of hope that wg would make a comeback. she basically crushed that by going to haiti to save ppl 4 jesus (and i think she mentioned that she was gonna be there 4 five years or smth)

the short version is that sunmi left so she could do missionary work with her husband in some ~poor and unfortunate land so she could teach villagers about the bible
i was irritated by her stringing the other members through the process and b/c she is bringing a baby to an unpredictable and potentially unsafe environment.

She didn't officially quit persay but she's not an active member and two or three concerts really doesn't interest her. But iirc her new agency has said they'd be fine with her working with WG still if she wants to and she's still on good terms with JYPN. but tbh she never really wanted to be a singer anyway so she'll continue modeling and hopefully get into acting like she wanted to in the first place.

Well Yeeun and Yubin are being super shady and running around NYC doing secret stuff and an actor was spotted in the same place the same day and I've been seeing hints from K Wonderfuls I follow. So it's possible but I dog dare get my hopes up. But Lims dad also told some fans awhile back that three of the members are planning something. So who really knows right now?
