Secret to Make a Comeback in August

Girl group Secret has scheduled a comeback for this summer.

On July 8, TS Entertainment revealed that after eight months since “I Do I Do” was released last December, Secret will be making a comeback as a group.

Secret has had many hit songs since they debuted in 2009, such as “Magic,” “Madonna,” “Starlight Moonlight” and “YooHoo” which included their trademark bubbly and sexy charms. Lately the members have been focusing on individual activities to foster their individual abilities.

Especially Jeon Hyo Sung, as she recently debuted with her solo song “Good-night Kiss” and is playing the role of Han Soo Ri in the KBS daily drama “My Dear Cat.” Jung Ha Na is shining by showing her worth as a rapper. Song Ji Eun has already established herself with drama OSTs and her solo album. Han Sun Hwa played a role in “God’s Gift – 14 Days” and has been cast in the tvN Friday-Saturday drama “Marriage, Not Dating.”

The Secret members have individually upgraded their talents through diverse training, and in their newly announced fifth mini-album, the title song is a highly addictive song in which you can see Secret’s characteristic womanly beauty.

TS Entertainment revealed on July 8 “Secret’s comeback will be right around August, and the members are currently preparing for the comeback. Secret has a fresh and bubbly image and can even do glamorous and sensual concepts, and they will compete with their differentiated charms that only they can pull off.

They've been in a decline since the Ilbe scandal. It doesn't help that they've only had bad title tracks since, so they couldn't even bounce back with good music. they need another Shy Boy or at least a Madonna to get them back to b/c-list girl group. Right now they're being overtaken by pretty much everyone, I think even AoA could beat them. The leader had it the worst (she's also the main reason for the scandal), but her solo actually did pretty well so I have faith that Secret could be back to about Girls Day level y the end of the year.

It's nice, for a b-side. But that definitely shouldn't have been a title track. The b-sides they preformed in Poison era were better songs (I'm bias towards Calling You).

I can't say I am a huge fan of Secret, but I do have some of their songs on my ipod and I think Hyosung is funny and really pretty so I hope that their next single is one that can hold my attention.

The articles mention the word "mature" so those who are fearing another cutesy track, have hope! I for one am really really hopeful that we're going to get Band!Secret because the articles mention how they've been having a variety of trainings, and they've all been learning instruments (Hyosung - Piano, Hana - Piano, Jieun - Drums and maybe guitar as well as continuing piano, Sunhwa - Guitar).

TS. Please please please just listen to Secret and what they're envisioning. Fingers crossed for a song worthy of Secret!
