i was going to stick with this drama no matter what because i absolutely adore han groo. she is so damn talented and i'm just happy to see her as a lead actress in a drama.
but this drama is just as fun as teasers promised! also it balances drama and comedy so well. this amazed me in second ep tbh. also i really like chemistry between the leads and this is one of the very few times when i don't give a single fuck about second male lead. Jinwoon is all cute and nice but I'm on board with our main otp.
so far so good. can't wait for upcoming eps.

I loved the first two episodes and I'm shipping the main otp since their first second.
Obviously Gi Tae is already falling in love with Jang Mi b/c interactions between Jang Mi and the other male characters made him jealous at the pool.
I guess I'm a sucker for contract dating/marriage plots.

I also like the fact that they chose Han Groo as lead, who's plastic-free (?) it kind of makes her character more authentic and the contrast between her and the other people Gi Tae's usually surrounded by aka his patients and friends stronger.

Gi Tae's grandma already rocks.

Totally gonna watch this since contract marriage has always been my fave plot for romantic comedy. The only 2 k-romcom that I like are Sassy Girl, Chun-hayng & Prime Minister & I which involved contract marriage plots. :D

Whoo watched ep. 2 and I'm hooked. Need to watch the first ep. next.

The leads are fun to watch, I almost lost it when she fell asleep on the mother in the middle of her etiquette talk.

The beginning reminds me of FTLY, in which the girl is too nice for her own good and has a revenge plot against her douche of a boyfriend.

love this, they did some amazing casting on this cause the chemistry is insane and while rom-coms tend to be predictable, the humor here is much better than some other korean dramas i've watched

The drama has some amazing senior actors for their side characters.

Kim Hae Soo (The Thieves, I can hear your voice), who always deserves all the awards, plays Gi Tae's mother.


Kim Kap Soo (Yoochun's hot dad in SKKS, Iris), whose eyes I have a crush on since SKKS, plays Gi Tae's father.


Kim Young Ok (the most amusing halmoni in Coffee Prince, Dalja's Spring) plays Gi Tae's grandmother.



They really nailed it in the casting department :D

I adore Han Groo's everything and I have loved every drama she has been in so I knew I would watch this when I heard she was in it. Its definitely good and she's cute in it as usual so I'm excited. I don't get what Jinwoo's character's deal is like...why do you keep smiling so much.

Been dropping dramas left and right for some time already but between FTLY, Highschool King and this, i am one happy drama watcher.

Sooo excited for Han Groo and Yeo Woojin finally headlining stuff. I've watched both eps twice already and cant get enough. I need friday to come sOoner!!!

Surprised at Sunhwa tbh, i didnt have any expectations but she's actually not bad.

Also yaaaaay Yoon Sohee making good acting choices!!!! This girl will go far.

I absolutely adore this so far! The teasers were hilarious and I was afraid that the actual series wouldn't be as charming, but the first two episodes were absolutely delightful. Han Groo and Yeon Woojin dove right into their characters and their dynamic is fantastic. I also love Sunhwa's character (No surprise there) and I'm dying to know more about her past with Kitae. The actors who play the parents are all faces I'm familiar with and they're incredible, naturally. Hoondong is so gross as a character and I really hope Yoon Sohee's character doesn't fall for him (which seems to be what they're hinting at...? Eww. Thank goodness Jangmi is no longer with him and Seah has made it clear she has no interest in him). Jinwoon's character is...nice to look at? He's not really interesting otherwise, unfortunately.

I can't wait for the next episode on Friday!!!
