Not that their japanese is perfect but I like the japanese vers. better. But I still think this song is not as good as their previous release, too bad.

It even sounds like this is the original version and that it was always intended to be sung in japanese. Of course, Sunggyu's nanananananana sounds the same in both versions :)
hmm well their last album was n°1 on oricon weekely chart, but they sold around 70k which isnt really a big number for the jpn market (and it was a bit gimmicky in an akb kinda way but shh) so i think it was more of a fluke due to the lack of jpn competition that week and they havent really submerged themeselves like going on tv shows or learning the language so they arent really trying to expand their jpn fandom it seems.
that said, all kpop do around the same with exceptions like soshi, bb, kara and shinee probably.
They do well enough considering they only do Japanese releases as a fanservice for their Japanese fandom and call it a day. Woollim never really tried to push them hard unlike most groups who try to break into the Japan market. Instead they concentrate all their resources on Korea, and drop the occasional limited edition single or fancy box set in Japan to make some quick yen. The K, J and intl fandoms will buy everything anyway, language of release be damned.
