sadly I'm cringing at the 'A' live because the song is repetitive and still out of JB's range. Forever Young is very good though (though yongjae only gets back on track during the latter half of the song), I really like hyungline's voices there.

He really did. It gets particularly uncomfortable during things like this, like, what are they supposed to be doing while everyone is singing? It's not like they can start dancing like on some music show.
not only 'A' but the whole album smh The distribution is really bad, we had a good discussion about it when it was released. Doesn't helpt that YJ's technique is quite weak yet and JB can't hit his notes and the song is basically their duet.
I know this is something that the comm has talked about before, but JYP really isn't the best company when it comes to training their vocalists, is it? I mean, it kind of feels like a lot of the progress their vocal lines has had came from things that are more or less unrelated to their training (Wonder Girls going to America and getting new vocal coaches, Jun.K doing musicals and Immortal Song, etc).
I have no idea about other JYP artists because GOT7 is the first group I'm into since Geng was in Suju, which is like... 5 years oh god. But they're under sony in Japan and Sony have great vocal trainers and overall producers and especially experience with urban/hiphop ( http://www.sonymusic.co.jp/jlist/ ) so I have expectatsion. They also did all their showcases live and were quite good with stage presence and vocals (except yj who was struggling but managed alright I suppose and jackson who was often offkey but he didn't have many singing parts so it wasn't noticeable).
i'm getting better at distinguishing their voices in songs, but it's these live versions that lets me see how uneven the line distribution can be and how green youngjae is

How much vocal training are these boys getting? After watching K-Pop Star 2, I thought JYP would be pretty serious about vocals, but it seems like Youngjae and JB haven't had nearly enough preparation for this promo cycle.
i usually think jb's live vocals are very stable, esp during girlsx3. and he sounds pretty good in A's live performances on shows where there's a louder bgm. but yeah he was a little off here.
Aww Bambam and his little skirt!! Also, is his hair less yellow or is it just me? It's either that or i got used to it lol! Forever grateful that Jr's hair/outfits have been on point with this comeback!
While i'm not crazy about A here, Forever Young sounds good!
