We are now accepting translators who are fluent in Korean, Chinese or Japanese & would like to help out at omona_prection. Please send a email to omonaprection@gmail.com that includes your username and language info if you wish to apply and be assessed for acceptance. We hope that this project will help spread more information to the english speaking fans here at omona and create more awareness of other Korean celebrities, chatter and possibly more lulz.

1. Prection
Derived from Super Junior member Kangin's back tattoo "actions are more PRECTION than words." Where "PRECIOUS" was the word he tried to spell.

We think it will be fairly flexible, but it's hard to say now. We definitely don't want the translators to be overloaded. We hope you can help out. :)

All members who pass a small test will be upgraded to mod status at the community so they can see the post queue. They will be able to view posts and reject or accept. If someone accepts a post they then have to claim it and start working on the translation.

It really depends on how much people are going to submit articles. We dont want to put any unnecessary strain on people.

You can choose to translate at any time but we do hope that there will be a steady team of people who can meet what ever demand there is for articles. We really cant predict how much it will be right now since we are just in the early stages. But any help is greatly appreciated.

I can definitely be a Chinese translator, but I dont know how swamped I'll be with work once college starts up again (which is tomorrow, lol). Can I sign up just to be a part-time or something? Unless you guys already have a lot and I'd only get one once a week or something anyways, lol.

The way it's going to be set up is people can choose which articles they want to translate at any time. We wont assign anything to you. But once you choose something to translate it's up to you to finish the translation in a decent amount of time. Unless you can pass it on to someone else.

Yeah sure. You can apply :P You will be allowed to use dictionaries and other translation members opinions while translating too.

Sadly I'm only able to read very simple Chinese but can make a full conversation in Cantonese, and only know as much Japanese I should know after learning it for a year... which isn't a lot. *sighs* One day I'll be able to join.

It would be nice if everyone would translated at least a few articles a week (i dont know how many to expect yet) but it's really up to you. You will get credit for everything you translate though.

I can translate Chinese articles but I'm not sure how many Chinese translators you need because I have a feeling you'll get more offers to translate Chinese articles than Korean or Japanese. dearly wishing my Korean is up to standard enough to translate but that will have to wait a while...

If a member here finds an untranslated article they want to know about they can submit it to omona_prection where a translator will decide if something similar has already been posted or if it's worth posting. Then they translate the post for the person and the original person then posts it at omona with credits. Basically :P

I can read katakana and hiragana, and understand few kanjis, but it's not enough to translate something... I wish I could understand more to help...
