Myungji Leaves Tiny-G to Focus on Her Acting Career

Myungji will be leaving her four-member girl group Tiny-G to focus on her acting career.

Tiny-G’s agency GNG Production announced on June 27, “Myungji has expressed her desire to focus on her acting career, which she has been slowly building up since she was young, appearing in a few commercials as a child actor. We have decided to respect her wishes.”

Myungji will be focusing on her acting career under the same company, GNG Production.

Meanwhile, Tiny-G will continue as a three-member group with the remaining members Dohee, J-Min, and Mint. They are currently preparing for their July comeback after regrouping as a three-member group. They will be releasing their fourth single album on July 3 and will officially kick off promotions on the same day.

It makes sense, I was surprised when she showed up for Dream Team.
I'm still peeved though. I don't see Tiny G working as a trio (especially with how dead-faced Dohee can be), so I'm actually kinda hoping they add either another singer or dancer after this comeback. At least it's not J.Min or Mint.

A little sad, but I'm not that much of Tiny G fan to be up in arms about Myungji leaving. I'll look forward to their promos as a trio and hopefully this means Mint gets more lines (and in the event they add another member, let them have pipes so JMin has someone to work with)

Whatever makes her happy I guess, she wasn't my favorite member but I will miss her. I have a soft spot for Tiny-G so I hope they do well as three (and as people have been saying above, maybe more lines for Mint?)
