the reaction wasn't as bad when khunfany came out, hottests were like "kekekkeke only together for four months kekekkee oppa have fun i'm so jealous" and sones were chill too, it seems most fans knew they were dating already. the shipping stans were the only ones doing the most but that was it (khun and taeyeon arrived in thailand on the same plane for separate schedules and taeyeon's thai fans sang for her at the airport so taeny stans were like, "TAEYEON IS THE TRUE THAI PRINCE!!!!" so to get back at them khun's stans went to the airport when he left and sang for him too lol qt).

i think the reaction here is just like this because it's taeyeon and she has the most fans in snsd, plus they're not happy with her ig clues (which is ridic, she has almost 600 posts on there, she can spare a few for her boyfriend), and then exo fans are crazy. which combined with how crazy sones already are, it's a bad combination.

anyway, i'm gonna say this anyway. long comment. whatever. the other post was really something. a majority of people dissing the fuck out of her (for existing) on the strength of a racist comment from years ago and apparent unprofessional behaviour (because having emotions/acting out is the worst thing you can do as an idol.) she is so obviously the most hated female idol in this comm. and it's a little unsettling when you see hundreds of comments that are negative like that.

not even about this topic, though. any time she's praised there's an immediate backlash. can't be called pretty or ideal, she's too plain. can't be praised for her voice, she's a robot that's an overrated singer while praising singers that are average singers. can't talk about soshibond (which is more loyalty/duty to the brand then friendships) because of how she treats certain members. chat shit about her ps, praise others that have had it. can't call her a goddess/queen but people who aren't talented or don't have their past fuckery (and everyone has fuckery) brought up regularly.

it's always positivity that's subjective or has to be criticised. but negativity (towards them or taeyeon) is acceptable. don't front with the soshi are loved shit, there are untouchable girl groups here it's not snsd. their fans are just the most defensive.

even commenting about it, i'm not expecting anyone to change or whatever. you're entitled to it but i'm a fan and it can get a little tiring.

finally, the 'haw haw she can be racist with baekhyun' thing is not funny. everyone is making the same jokes. also some of the people that endlessly bring up that comment aren't doing it with the best of intentions. i mean the ones that aren't even black, it feels like an excuse to rag on her. everybody knows she said it. before i even got into k-pop, i knew she said it so.
