Dongwoon of B2ST said on a recent episode of Mnet's Dirty Talk that one of Kikwang's "skills" is that he has the "swag" of a "blacK" (the word he used can be directly translated as black or negro). Mere moments later he goes on to deride a photo of DooJun because he looks too "dark" in it. What do you think of this?

This is especially hurtful to people like me. as a person of color (black) who grew up in a white neighborhood. I was constantly complimented on for having what people see as the positive aspects of black people, not being like "other" black people while also being discriminated against for my appearance. This is a classic example of other races liking to take and appropriate our fashion, music, style, and culture while simultaneously looking down on people for having dark skin. I know a lot of fans will try to make excuses and defend Dongwoon but intent does not negate responsibility for making such damaging statements.
