NU’EST Announces the Results of Their “NU’PAPA 14-day Record” Challenge

Earlier in the month, boy group NU’EST announced that they were taking a 14-day challenge, called “NU’PAPA 14-day Record.”  For the Youtube series, each member got to choose their own challenge and for 14 days, uploaded a status video onto the group’s official Youtube channel. On the final day of the challenge, today, NU’EST uploaded a final roundup, revealing the results of their challenge.

Member Baekho decided to diet during the 14 days and ended up failing! He said it was his fault, being unable to control what he eats, but Baekho also couldn’t help but blame the weight scale, saying there is something wrong with it.

JR decided to show fans how he does his rap making, which he successfully completed. To much happiness for fans, JR’s solo song will be included in NU’EST’s next album.

Minhyun, who wanted to act in a drama this year, decided to “donate” his voice to fans (such as narrating a book), which also acted as his pronunciation practice. This was also successfully completed.

Ren, because he likes fashion, decided to show his transformation, what kind of style he likes, and how he takes care of his looks. Unfortunately, fans won’t be able to see Ren’s transformation until NU’EST’s next album.

Aron challenged writing a love letter to fans in Korean as a way of practicing the language, and surprised many people with how good he was. Aron admits he still has trouble with spelling so he promises to study more by looking at NU’EST fancafe often.

I think they should step away from having Ren too feminine. He grew and has some muscles now, he's going to look good with dark hair.

Aw poop. I wanted to see dark-haired Ren. It's good Aron got better at his Korean though. That letter actually was a challenge. As for Baekho, I wonder how much weight he was trying to lose. I hope it wasn't too much. :/

Wait wait wait wait, Baekho LOSING weight? Fuck that noise. I hope he lost weight and put on muscle or something cause there's far too much of this, 'please feed me' look going on lately. D: There's a vast difference between healthy/naturally thin, and omgwtfbbqdidyoudotoyourself thin. The latter seems to be far more popular these days.

Yeah I was bummed when I read that Baeks challenge was to lose 5kg in a fortnight, that's not healthy, and you cannot possibly say that Baek is overweight, he's a tall solid boy, he's never going to look stick thin without doing something outrageously bad for his health.

Also not here for dark haired Ren, short hair maybe, but not dark 8-(

I commented first on the comeback post instead of here, and now i'm even more nervous for this comeback cause i can't wait to see what Ren looks like!

Since he is into fashion/different looks i'm not opposed to a different style but maybe they should've kept the blond hair?
Or a different shade of it. Granted maybe i'll see the new colour and be amazed so who knows!

I'm no expert but i really didn't think Baekho needed to lose weight. He is naturally slightly bigger and it looks great on him. Plus now i feel bad for him since he's the only one who "failed". :(
