I don't see the point in adding members who are highschoolers at this point unless DSP plans on a graduation system.

They're actually really supportive of each other and seem to have a good relationship with each other... and the criticism they get from the staff is very professional... which I guess is only going to make it harder to watch as the day of judgement approaches, but honestly this episode wasn't that bad.

oh yeah i mean as a whole thing rather than ep by ep, just knowing that either they're going to 'win' and be a new member in a well established group, which is probably going to suck real bad, or they're going to lose probably not get much out of it, at least in the short term

Considering they're competing against each other they seem pretty supportive... Sojin must be a good leader, DSP should give her another group to manage instead of breaking this one up for KARA.

So far Sojin, Chaekyung, Chaewon and the girl who was hospitalized (edit: Youngji) seem the most aware of the pressures and stakes. Chaekyung is kind of interesting, I think she's my favorite for now.

One girl reminds me of Soyu, and one looks like Goo Hara.

As said above, for a competition, they seem to be all very solidaire. Why not debute them as a group, instead of choosing one for Kara, when clearly, no ones wants new members.

Just finished watching. Out of all the girls, I think Sojin is the only one I could see being a part of Kara, mostly because of her age and overall composure. Somin is really pretty though; I think she looks like a better version of Hara.

Honestly, I'd rather they just let Kara continue as a 3 member group and debut these girl's in another year or so.

i half want sojin to be part of kara because i know how high the stakes are for her, but i also don't want her to be because i feel like she has good leadership qualities and it would be a shame to put that to waste. if she were to debut in a new group as the leader, that would be really cool.

i also agree with OP in not wanting somin to win this even though she has the potential to because i feel that she deserves better than to be the new member of kara D: she's almost too pretty (and talented) to be put in kara (as in, why not just be part of a new awesome group instead of one that arguably sinking?)

IA. Sojin's already leading the group well, and it seems she has been for a while now. But it looks like DSP is pushing her to be the addition to Kara because she was the 1st teaser and has the most screen time. Somin's potential would be wasted on Kara and she's only 18(?) while the Kara members are 23-26.

Really though, putting any of these girls in Kara would be a bad career move for them because lbr, Kara's only going to last another year or two.

Didn't think I'd be interested tbh, but I actually really liked it, albeit I'm dreading the eventual ending to this show. I really feel for the girls rn, since they already seem to be a group that's really supportive and dependant on each other, and it'd just be cruel to break them apart and throw the 'winner' into the lion's den. Btw, are they just adding one member? I think they'd need at least two to make it easier for them to deal with the transition and potential criticisms. I'd like for them to be a separate group, but with how dsp manages rainbow I don't have high hopes that they'd make much of an impact with their debut, so it makes sense to use Kara's fame to give the new member a chance.

My favorite is Somin rn, bb girl is a mix of Hara and Eunyoung with 10x the talent. But I honestly don't think Kara will be very good to ourr for her, it'd be a waste. Chaekyung and Sojin have also caught my attention, since they seem to have the most at stake along with Youngji. I think Chaewon can be a hidden card, and I just feel bad for Siyun and Youngji. Yuji threw me off with her colorist comment, so I'm keeping an eye out for her...

On the whole, this just really depresses me because it reminds me so much of VIXX's Mydol with the evaluations, group dynamics, and everything. My heart cannot. If I continue watching this I'm going to be bawling along with the girls. I just know it.

Yuji said they were all pretty. :D I don't feel like naming names for the person who made the color comments. I was just happy Somin clearly pointed out to her that it was not okay.

Chaewon reminds me of Kamei Eri from Morning Musume. I think she would work well in Japanese markets.

On the one hand, I think all of these girls seem really sweet and talented so they should join Kara (cause Lord knows Kara needs a talented vocalist). But on the other hand I think ALL of the girls seem really sweet and talented so they should be debuted in their own group.

That being said, it sounds like the girls signed up to be a part of this whole Kara project, and DSP can barely promote Rainbow properly.

I have a lot of conflicting feelings about this and I'm not even a Kamilia.

Hmm, wow Youngji's voice is disappointing and I didn't think her visuals had that much wow factor, given what I read of netizen's comments.

I think so far my favorites are Chaekyung - she seems personable, and Somin, because she sings quite well and has good stage presence. I also think Chaewon is bright and adorable, but she doesn't look like she'd fit with Kara's current image.
