SHINee member Key will have a surprise meeting with his Japanese mother-in-law.
In the upcoming May 24 broadcast of MBC Every1’s variety program “We Got Married Global Edition 2,” Key will be surprised with an unexpected meeting with his virtual wife Arisa Yagi’s mother.
At the recent filming for the show, Arisa Yagi took Key to a nearby Korean Table d’hote and asked him to wait in the room by himself while she excused herself to use the restroom.
Key then opened the door to the room without any thought, and was caught by surprise when he found Arisa Yagi’s mother already waiting. It is reported that Key, who was shocked by the unexpected surprise, grabbed his shoes and ran out of the room. After calming himself down, he returned and bowed in respect to his mother-in-law.
In the personal interview, Key confessed, “Something was a bit suspicious because my wife is not one to go to the restroom after telling me. I just thought it was an event, so I panicked because I had no idea that my mother-in-law would be there.”

SHINee’s Key will be joining the others on MBC’s 7 Hungry Houseguests in Ethiopia.
According to multiple broadcasting affiliates, Key will be appearing in the Ethiopia special of 7 Hungry Houseguests, joining singer Shin Sung Woo, comedians Seo Kyung Seok, Kim Kyung Shik, Son Hun Soo, actress Lee Young Ah and more.
7 Hungry Houseguests is a new variety show featuring celebrities trying various food in different countries.
The first round of filming already completed in China last month. The Chinese special will feature B1A4’s San Deul, Lee Young Ah, Kim Yoo Jung, Seo Kyung Seok and more.
The seven members of the Ethiopia special will be leaving for the country on May 23 and return on June 2. Key will be returning on May 30 for his concert in China.
Meanwhile, the show is set to air the first episode on May 30.

Ari-Chan to Make Film Debut in "Say, I Love You"
Yagi Arisa will be making her film debut as Kitagawa Megumi in the live-action adaptation of popular manga "Say, I Love You." The movie is scheduled for a July 12 release. Vivi magazine will be releasing a special edition in celebration of the film with a character sketch/side-story of Ari-chan's character. Film Summary: Mei Tachibana is a high school student. Due to a traumatic incident when she was a kid, Mei has been unable to make friends or have boyfriends. By mistake, Mei then injures the most popular male student named Yamato Kurosawa. Somehow, Yamato Kurosawa likes Mei Tachibana and tells everyone unilaterally that Mei is his friend. One day, Yamato Kurosawa saves Mei Tachibana from a stalker by kissing her. From that kiss, their love story begins.
Kitagawa Megumi Profile: An amateur model and transfer student who was placed in Yamato's class. She acts sweet, but in reality is trying to cut Mei off from the rest of their friends and steal Yamato. She had childhood trauma of being called ugly and a plain girl. After realizing that few people actually thought of her as a friend even though she did much to please them such as paying for meals and giving gifts, she finds true friends in her childhood friend Momo and Asami. In addition, she begins to ignore other people's comments and cuts her hair as an expression of choosing her decisions without the fear of other's opinions. (from wiki)
