Exo is giving me some serious heartburn. First this messy af Kris situation and now I hear that Yixing made a joke about Tao's skin color. WHY CAN'T WE JUST HAVE NICE THINGS. *inserts Tyra Banks I was rooting for you gif*. I still love him but like...why.
In other news I'm very excited for the meteor shower tonight :3 apparently North America should have the best view of it. Is anyone else going to watch it?
I forgot my passport when I went to the bank to pick up my yen and won. Whoops. Have to go back tomorrow :/ But I leave on Wednesday!!! So excited! I still don't know what I'm going to do in Seoul tbh but I have some stuff written down in my little travel planner thing so I'll figure it out lol. Also question- I haven't been able to ask and the teller at my bank didn't know either but can I use my regular debit card (it's Wells Fargo) at any ATM in Seoul like I can in Japan?...

I have Wells Fargo too, I've never traveled abroad on it though. I think it should be OK because it's a visa? Although you probably should check with the company before you go to be sure!
I have a four day weekend from work and I don't even know what to do with myself. I'm kind of convinced that if I blink, when I open my eyes it will be 6am on Wednesday and I'll have to get up for work already, eek!
Hey guys!I'm a new member of LiveJournal who had been lurking around on Omona for a while but I finally cracked and decided to get an account after the Kris issue. My favorite group is VIXX and I'm so excited for their comeback next week!!!My bias is Leo butI love them all because it's so hard to only like one person in VIXX!They all creep out on you at one way or another.
I was waiting for next ffa to share it, it's super long but I kinda need to let it out...
I started going to a psychologist few months ago. I have a major breakdown around New Year's, I used to get help during high school but I had around two years break in that. I wanted to start theraphy last autumn cause I suffer from depression and it just got much harder to live with it around that time. I was after my first serious job and it broke me down. I started second year at uni and it's the hardest one because it's centered around really demanding subject. I felt like I won't be able to go and conceal everything. I screamed for help but my mom basically ignored me. I depend on her a lot, esp financially... And then around Christmas some stuff happend and I had really a terrible month. I wasn't able to do anything, I only lazed around but it made me feel tired anyway. Only then my mom actually did something actually helpful, but it was kinda too late. Yes I know I could've find myself a therapist w/o my mom's help but to cut long story short, I wasn't able to. Back to my mom, she found me a psychologist reccomended by her therapist and started working out my issues with her few months ago. At first it was hard cause I'm pretty introverted and I'm great at manipulation people, acting and pretending, but gradually it got better and I'm happy with how it's going on.
Basically it turned out I know my psychologist's huge family secret... It's kinda awkward to me cause she has no idea and I personally started to see her in brand new light. My brother is an young movie director and he once done a short movie during some workshop. It was pretty hardcore, it had violence, sex and all that, despite being super short. He had two female leads in it and after he became friends with one of the actresses, he started working on a script based on her family story. Basically for when she was one year old, it turned out her mom pretended that now-an actress is her husband's kid. In reality she had an affair and when it all came to light, she married her lover and divorced the fake dad. She had no kids with her first husband and after divorce she basically cut all the ties with him. That actress found about it by total chance and was pretty shocked. Idk why she told the whole story to my brother but he wrote the script, it turned out to be a movie similar to Garden State. He made up some stuff and after the real heroine read it, she wasn't happy. I'm a prt-time script doctor for my brother, I have to read all his shit and I read this one like 50 times, each and every version. I knew the back story and some rl details that were later changed in the script. I knew he mom is a psychologist now and she's working where I'm living rn.
After few sessions with my psychologist, I started joining facts and I realised she is that actress' mom. She told me few times little details about her daughter, like she's an actress, that she saw my brother's works, finally that her daughter worked once with my brother... I ignored it without giving it second thought but it just hit me few weeks ago. It's awkward now cause I remember my brother joking about sending me to her for theraphy as an punishment and turns out I'm actually seeing her. I told it to my mom and she was shocked but I'm still going on with my theraphy. I'm not suppossed to know that and it's her personal life. Everyone makes mistakes and it happend 30 years ago, why should I care. As a specialist she has her own counsellor and I believe she has it all sorted now. If not... it's not my bussiness. My own theraphy is going well rn so I'll keep it to myself. I have some problems with that psychologist's view on things like I hate hearing that I need to be more feminine and stuff, but that's it.
It's not exactly the same as you but I saw a therapist when when I was in high school and pretty soon I found out that his daughter was actually an ex-classmate and casual friend of mine (and good friend of my best friend). She also lived pretty close to me. After I figured it out I felt so awkward and pretty soon I stopped going. But in my case I didn't feel like it was working anyway I just thought I should keep going for the sake of it. But if you think it's working for you and knowing all this isn't making your sessions too difficult you should probably keep going with her, finding a good therapist you feel comfortable enough to open up to is really hard.
me and my friends saw it last night and it was so hilariously bad. We kept laughing throughout the entire thing. When the movie ended a bunch of people turned around and glared at us lmao, we just kind of ran out of there.
wow i haven't commented in a ffa in awhile lol. anyway, after one of the most intense, stressful semesters of my life, i'm finally halfway done with my undergrad degree!!
now it's summer, then i leave for seoul to study abroad for a year in august. oof.
Um...I'm trying to make something useful out of my summer so I'm trying to take three more courses than the one I'm already doing on top of an internship I have (I hate computer science so much). Plus I went to the library today and got a ton of books, so if anyone has recs, let me know? I need to get back into reading.
In other worlds the FTTS album is flawless and makes up for that Phantom release. Younha and JJY are going to be great together too. A friend of mine has been trying to get me into older stuff too (Lee Sunhee, YB, etc.)
It seems like there's a lot of you all taking trips to Korea, or already living here. Do you guys want to have a meet-up in Seoul? I have no idea what we'd do, but it'd be nice to make new friends. :)
My in-laws are coming to visit and stay with us this weekend and I"m so stressed out. I broke my toe earlier in the week so I wasn't able to clean to Korean mother in law standards T-T Wish me luck.
Going to the sunset musical festival tomorrow ... so exciting however I feel I'm like the only one who's not dressing up for this lol.... friends are doing superhero tomorrow and disney on sunday XD .... also I'm going to go with people I don't really know much I hope is not awkward lol
Did anyone watch Potato star? this was one of the most frustrating drama endings ever for me I can't believe that's how they wrapped it after 120 episodes ugh
