The series will revolve around Park Hoon, a South Korean who was captured with his father and grows up in North Korea. He is trained to become a genius doctor, and though Park Hoon lands a job at the best South Korean hospital after defecting, he is treated as a foreigner. To find his lost North Korean first love, Song Jae Hee, he does anything to make money.

I don't like Seung Hee at all, or that North Korean dude, or the Prime Minister. I can't wait for the latter two to die and Seung Hee to fuck off back to where ever she came (I don't think she's Jae Hee, but if she is then that's fucked up).

I don't want Hoon to end up with Soo Hyeon tho (I actually kinda ship Jae Joon/Hoon X_X). I'd prefer if it ended like this other medical drama 'The Third Hospital' where the lead guy didn't end up in a relationship at the end because he was still trying to find himself.

Too many of the characters on this show are sketch for no reason, like Doctor Choi, the Prime Minister and Jae Joon. Does Jae Joon actually love Soo Hyeon or was he pretending to get close to her dad. I didn't like his glance at the hospital when he was hugging Soo Hyeon. And why does the Prime Minister care if Hoon's working at the hospital, I honestly thought he would be trying to have him killed.

I loved the scene where Soo Hyeon was showing Hoon Seung Hee's photos on Instagram/Facebook and he's like "What's this? How's you do that,".

the Prime Minister's sick and he wants to Hoon to operate on him. he's setting everything up so that Hoon stays working at the hospital and he will choose Hoon's team for the operation

I am guessing he has some plan to figure that out so that Hoon will, maybe dangle finding Jae Hee in Hoon's face as a reward or something. This man is just full of nefarious plans and back up more nefarious plans

i think han jae joon is the type of guy who approached the girl for his ambitions and is now confused because he has feelings for her, with that conversation he had with another doctor at the bar with the whole knight trying to take over a castle etc.

okay these episodes left me with meh and a lot of disappointment not because they were bad (they weren't the best episodes but...) but because there were so much potential for several things:

1) ughhhhh jin se yeon i was rooting for you ughhhhh your acting is so superficial and boring and this character could have been a kickass woman and you dropped the ball it's boring as fuck and i actually liked jae hee :((((((((( seung hee could be so interesting and you aren't making it work ughhhhhhh

2) can we not with the cliched rom com scenes with hoon and soo hyun because can we please have two colleagues of opposite sex that become good friends and coworkers learning from each other without all these ~sexual tension~ etc
like hoon is ALL about jae hee. they are fated (literally by the red thread of blood). we don't need this let's get drunk and fall romantically onto a blanket together or have the guy accidentally see the girl in shower scenes it's so overdone and not meant for these two ughhhhhhhhhh love triangles are the worst and i hate having audience fight over otp, especially when the WHOLE point of the drama is that hoon is looking for his girl.

3) way too much focus on soo hyun's life and we're only 5-6 episodes in... why do we gloss over hoon's life in an episode and soo hyun gets three and half???

4) cha jin soo is hot and i need him in all the scenes to sex up the place.

Okay havent watch this yet but honestly I just couldnt feel the chemistry between Jin Seyeon & Jongsuk from the teasers or anything that I've seen them together. So my question is, is their relationship really works in the actual drama? Because I really cant watch a drama where the main guy keep bla bla how the girl is the one and he cant seem to forget her but when they were together, you just dont feel the chemistry or the feelings at all.

I mean, its hard to watch a story where you cant sympathies with the actors esp a supposed love story but there's no ~love~ or ~feelings~ between the two in the first place.

I thought the scenes of them together were really cute, they intentionally kept it cheesy but short and sweet. Theyre messing it up with Jae Hee/Seung Hee in ep 5 and 6 though. I'm hoping it turns around ;;

After the dramatic first 3 episodes it's weird to have just this hospital drama, it feels so trite compared to what Hoon's been through. Even Dr.Choi revealing himself to be the refugee smuggler was kind of flat for me. I was looking forward to the scenes of Hoon doing surgery and being awesome but a girl can only live on those scenes for so long.

The last two episodes were really disappointing for me compared to the first 4... it just suddenly turned into an angsty melodrama, and now I ship Soo Hyun and Hoon together more than ever so...

I want more intense surgeries and/or unique storylines next week...
