I can't wait for her to be back :) She was more talented than DSP let her show. I've always liked her hair too, always on point and generally suits her (minus that one time DSP made her do the weird thing for Jump).

I think what the choreographer is trying to teach Nicole is to let go of the counting and thinking of all the steps and be in the groove, flow, and feel the music...I do not know how to explain this LOL

I understand. Michael Jackson himself stated he HATED the way many dancers counted their steps and he could always tell when they were doing it.

Yeah, like one person stated above she's thinking too much. I think the weird things about idol training is that they don't tell you to really feel the music and have fun and then you have many fans thinking idol choreo is the standard of good dance when it's a lot of very rehearsed almost robotic-ness where everyone looks the same (outside of the people who you can tell actually like to dance and add a little more -which might be a whole group sometimes but other times it's just one or two people). I think that was the point of the posing exercises--you do them in quick succession so you're not really thinking and just doing/doing what you feel.

It's like when my old dance teacher said to never sing the song while you're dancing. Lol, to this day I get annoyed when I see people do that--it's like a big sign that you are thinking (it's also distracting, imo).

I'm so glad to see she is working to keep performing. People come for her for being a bad singer but she has a lot of charisma when she dances and I think she is so cute and sweet too

I've always really liked Nicole, but she is a classic case of the Kpop star who needs to be a part of a group that can compensate for what she individually lacks.
