Synopsis

Life can be very different in the blink of an eye when you suddenly go from the prime of your 20s to the over-the-hill, ripe old age of your 70s in a molecularly impossible second. Three pretty-boy police detectives (played by Choi Jin Hyuk, Park Min Woo and Park Doo Sik) try to investigate the strange murder of a man whose old body doesn’t fit his 43-year-old identity. When they come across a large aquarium-like container with two human research subjects, all three detectives and their partner Park Jung Woo (Kim Hee Chul) jump into the tank to free the men. But the three detectives – Lee Joon Hyuk (Lee Soon Jae), Han Won Bin (Byun Hee Bong) and Jun Gang Suk (Jang Gwang) – emerge from the tank having aged 50 years, while Jung Woo remains unchanged in his 20s. Can the grandfather detectives solve the murder mystery of the strangely aged victim and find a way to return to their young selves? “Grandpas Over Flowers Investigation Team” is a 2014 Korean comedy series directed by Kim Jin Young.

I LOVE this drama, it's so wacky and fun and the actors are doing a great job, I like especially the A Pink fanboy and Heechul's hair is fabulous.

I've only seen the 1st episode so far but I love it! It's so funny and was loling so much at Heechul's character. Also the old men play their characters really well, as in I can still sense the young men within them. A bit disappointed though because I loved the whole cast of the young men so it's a shame they're gone (well apart from Heechul of course)

I actually laughed out loud so many times that it made people ask me what was that amusing. Heechul's great in it and so are the older actors, they're doing a great job of channeling their younger characters (especially Lee Soonjae!). All of the scenes playing on seniority/respect absolutely give me life, they are the best. It's too bad there's only one episode a week.

Decided to check it out because of Heechul, sticking around because everything about this is flawless and I haven't actually laughed at something in too long to remember (which is really sad actually).

The first episode was super great but the second was a little too much investigation scenes for me. Hopefully random cases won't dominate this drama :(

I'm surprised how much I am enjoying this drama. its nice and easy to watch. There's a bit too much toilet humour but otherwise its really funny. And I like that they come across as reasonably compotent police officers, despite the comedy. Also great how episode 2 was set out in the countryside.
