He's bacccck!!! Omg. They voice, those long notes, those glasses- Cap actually looks really good! And Yura is perf. The songs great. The MV was really nice too. But ugh his voiceeeee.
Random but I hate that most of k-pop guys I find attractive are all way younger than me. The 90s generation keep growing nicely while I'm getting old lol.
I'm always reminded of Dazed & Confused when this subject comes up:
Change "high school girls" to kpop nugus and there ya go lol
But honestly, as long as they're legal, I'm gonna look, admire and appreciate. I'm going to try to not think about the age gap too much, cuz it's not like I want to date guys in their early 20s IRL. Dear god, never lol. I didn't date guys in their early 20s when I was in my early 20s, but hot is hot.
Yeah, same here. Like one thing is appreciate they're attractive (even tho I also feel uncomfortable about this if they're under 20 because 18-19 is still teen territory) but another thing is dating them irl. I wouldn't date anyone under 23-24 because that feels too damn young when you're close to 30 tbh.
That reminds me that I watched a talk show before in which a woman in her 60s confessed that she slept a couple of times with a 17 y/o boy when she was 50 and that he made her feel young again with his freshness and naivety, and people were okay with it .__. So damn gross tbh. He was a freaking minor and she was more than middle aged, ew.
That doesn't really sound legal, but that all depends on where it took place. While I wouldn't participate in that behavior when I'm in my 50s I'll refrain from calling her gross or someone's sexual choices gross. I'm 100% sure my exes have been told they were gross for dating a fat chick, so I won't judge. Besides when I was in my early 20s I was engaged to a man well over twice my age and dealt with the grimaces and odd looks we got when we went out. My only concern here is that he was legit a kid at 17 and morally I find that troublesome. That's beyond a May-December romance and feels more like statutory rape.
I personally don't feel like I'd have much in common w/ someone in their early 20s, not enough to date them or consider anything serious with them outside of friendship. But sex can be purely physical, you don't need anything in common to enjoy sex with someone. Now that I'm in my 30s I get hit on by guys in their early to mid 20s more than ever. Idgi, I'm not complaining, but I'm still not interested either. Maybe when I reach cougar age I'll get it, but rn I just don't see the appeal. I mean Yea there are exceptions and some very mature 20 somethings out there, but still they lack the life experience that I look for. And 99% of the time they aren't going to be as established as I am and I have no desire to take care of someone who can't properly take care of themselves.
It took place here in my country and here 17 is pretty much a minor, so to me that's a morally gross behavior. We are not talking about "sexual preferences" but about an adult woman with an underaged boy. I'm pretty sure if it was a 50 y/o man with a 17 y/o girl everyone would be almost calling for his execution so I don't see how is this any different. Anything that involves an adult with a minor IS disgusting, even if the age of consent is usually younger than 18. It still feels like statutory rape.
And 99% of the time they aren't going to be as established as I am and I have no desire to take care of someone who can't properly take care of themselves
Same. Most of people in their early 20s are usually still studying in college/university and they still don't have established jobs and careers, so a person in his/her 30s and with an established job, a house, more experience in life, etc dating someone in their early 20s who are still getting education and figuring out themselves feels like pretty imbalanced and relationships when one of the parties is like "taking advantage" of the other doesn't feel okay.
I agree that sex is different than dating but I still see anyone under 20 as such a child (I mean, I'm surrounded by 18-19 y/o in my class and many of them still look and act like kids) so I don't think I would touch them either tbh.
Maybe when I reach cougar age I'll get it
I didn't understand this part tho. I mean, if you wouldn't date guys like 10 years younger than you now because they feel too immature, when you are in your 40s or so, the 20-something crowd would feel even more immature to you ._.
Lol right. Like I said statutory rape. Who is everyone? Were ppl applauding her on the show? I'm not at all saying she was morally OK; just wondering if it was legal. I won't push my morality stds on someone else. I disagree with what she did, but IF the dude was legal at 17 then not much anyone could do about it. If 17 isn't legalshe should've went to jail. I wanna know where the hell his parents were tho. At 17 I still had mom and dad to answer to personally.
I'm not saying my attitude will change. I've dated older my entire life, but a lot of the women I know who are in their late 40s didn't start becoming interested in younger guys until they got older. The comment was tongue in cheek. I don't think I'll wake up at 45 and be like bring on the frat boys, but the ladies I know seemed to make a 180 out of nowhere. But that could be bc of a lot of other societal factors beyond age. And honestly most of them were newly divorced, so maybe it's something like a mid life crisis and wanting to feel desirable after shitty marriages.
As far I know 17 is illegal in the big majority of countries and even if it was legal it still feels like a child. I mean, just look at how people here felt grossed out at Hyeri/Tony or Sulli/Choiza despite the girls being legal when they dated them, but many people just feel that anything under 20 is still a kid because they're still teenagers after all and attending to high school. People weren't applauding but everyone was saying the typical: "she's a liberated woman that can do whatever she wants with her body" thingy, and I wouldn't have any problem if the kid was legal, but he was not so I didn't understand how people were so damn comfortable with statutory rape. Plus, like I said, I'm pretty sure if the genders were reversed everyone would have been grossed out, when this is not any better.
That reminds me to people saying that Johnny Depp was pathetic because he's going to marry a much younger woman and people said he was clearly going through a mid-life crisis. I guess it's the same then. I kinda can understand them tho. Young people are more fun to be with. I usually prefer talking to younger people than with my peers because most of them are cynical and bitter as hell and they don't fit with me at all because I still have such a young spirit. It's not like they're that old tho, they're in their late 20s, but many of them already behave like middle aged people, and some of them already have kids and stuff. It's like they were in a completely different stage of life.
The juxtaposition of being in love and the sexy dancing makes it hard to get into what I think the song is trying to convey, but I like the song, and the rewinding parts were pretty nifty. And CAP in this mv also really throws me off... XD
Wow I didn't expect Cap to be in here. I was looking at him int he beginning trying to place his face, but once they cut away to the darker scenes I realized it was him. XD He looks really handsome here, and that's a first for me. I'm at a loss.
As for this song...I just don't know. I was more interested in the video than the song. Wheesung sounded like his vocals were all over the place. He couldn't commit to one note and it felt like he was warbling at certain points. I'm sad about it, but I can't say I like this song. I hope the rest of his album is amazing.
I'm a fan of his music but part of this song sound like he's just trying to do way too much vocally and it doesn't flow? idk. i loved the big notes he did though. I liked the video tho.
I must be catching up with you. I've been repeating the song rather endlessly since I first heard it and I'm so addicted and I wanna cry it's so so good ;___;
This song is like a sweet and beautiful addiction. I love everything about it. Who even cares what the video is like when the music is like this?? Wheesung has always been one of my favourites and for good reason. I love the things he does with his voice and how he can express so many colours in his singing. And the lyrics of the song are so so beautiful. I want that kind of love ♥
