Well if the rumor list was right last year and it was pretty accurate it said sm was working on a coed group to debut late 2013 that obv never happened but maybe it was just postponed and they are debuting this year
In case anyone was curious, these are the rookies featured (in order of appearance):
1. Taeyong (black hoodie dancing w/ chalk) 2. Irene (hair flip, chair dancing in the sun) 3. Seulgi (should be obvious but room w/ couch) 4. Mark (BWCW hat, dancing in stairwell) 5. Wendy (recording studio) 6. For the rooftop guy imma say Hansol (but it could be Johnny or Yuta)
dont really care about the kids because i think theyre like 15 or something but that beats cool, kinda reminds me of something byyyyyyy..... portishead maybe?
basically this is just a project for SM to show off their trainees

What if they go all the way and put them in different groups to release music...because based on the boys performing at the concert week they're hiding the girl group for a reason...debut soon?
i still don't know where this sm rookies thing is going but i'm really digging the beat and instrumental. and the teaser is really aesthetically pleasing. why can regular sm stuff be like this?! all the wasted potential tbh. also taeyong and seulgi are super attractive here. i can see seulgi being the next 'it' girl in the industry. there's just something about her looks? but also mark looks like such a cutie
IA. I mean it looked nice, but that's about it. Tbh most of these SM rookies teasers really haven't shown much. That one dance vid for the girls was just filled with lots of hairflips on chairs + editing cuts. Wendy(?) who had that OST song was ok, but nothing has really grabbed me from any of these teasers.
This is such are gorgeous teaser tbh. The background music is really nice and these kids are all gorgeous and look promising. I can see Seulgi being the new it girl and Taeyong the it boy.
