Plot:
It’s understandable to lose your faith in love after being stood up on your wedding day. Ban Ji Yeon (Uhm Jung Hwa) was devastated and then believed that marriage wasn’t for her. The 39-year-old has focused on her career as a reporter, so seriously that her colleagues refer her to as a witch, and put her romantic life on the back burner. But when Ji Yeon meets Yoon Dong Ha (Park Seo Joon), the 25-year-old owner of a small errand center, she finds herself in an unexpected December-June relationship that could thaw her hardened heart. But will her life become further complicated by the return of her former fiancé, No Shi Hoon (Han Jae Suk)?
“A Witch’s Romance,” also known as "A Witch's Love" and “My Queen,” is a 2014 South Korean drama series directed by Lee Jeong Hyo. It is a remake of the hit Taiwanese drama “My Queen.”

This drama is literally the death of me. I love it so much. The characters are great and the chemistry between Uhm Jung-hwa and Park Seo-joon is sizzling. Only complaint I have is that the editing is weird. The end of episode 4 was at the airport with her ex, but there's no mention of it in episodes 5 and 6.

And I really hope things work out for Ji-yeon and Dong-ha. <3 I haven't seen the original, so I don't know what happens but this is dramaland, so hopefully it'll work out...but then again I Need Romance's ending was a disappointment...

lol They never showed what happened afterwards. I guess she ended up just not seeing him because of how shocked she was at the Club meeting party thing. Maybe they'll show it as a flashback? Idk, discontinuous as fuck. Editors need to get their shit together. They showed the wrong preview for episode 5 as well...

I didn't even notice about the wrong preview. I just soak up all the stuff I can get from this drama lol.

But yeah I was really confused about the ending of Ep 4. When I was watching Ep 5, I was like... uhhh what? This isn't where we left off! I went back to Ep 4 and checked and scratched my head afterwards. We might never know....

I'm going to be pissed if the editors fuck up this awesome drama QQ

my first UJW anything and she's really delightful. the ending of ep. 6 was so predictable go away. if it turns out he was doing a noble idiot thing leaving her... he still doesn't deserve getting her back.

Ep 7 is going to be so much heartache, I'm already getting tissues aready ;_; At least I spotted some cute Mr. Yoon x Sunbae moments in teh teaser. Also thank god, CIndy doesn't seem to have such a big role in the next episode (for now).

When Shi Hoon showed up again (I still don't get what happened during the ep 4 airport cliffhanger...) I cursed so hard. Ugh, how dare he even try to get back with her when he pulled the ULTIMATE douchebag move?

I can't believe she did that to his plant. But I really liked how they handled it. The hyacinth metaphor was a bit heavy, but I thought the handling of his grief has been so well portrayed. I'm really liking how this isn't going to be another drama waiting for them to be together - but rather they are together, but still have a lot to work out. Its refreshing how open they are being about their feelings. I love how much time they spend together just talking or spending time together in a very natural way. They have such great chemistry. I was so happy to see dong ha turn up for her, even if public confessions make me cringe. Can't believe the ex-fiance just turned up as if nothing had happened. (Its so awkward too. all those poor woman having to watch that confession and then the fiance...)There's a bunch of little things that annoy me about this drama but still, its mostly fun. (And dong ha is gorgeous.)
