(chase scene in Hungary)
Jang Suk Joo (Prime Minister of Korea): A request to defect... Does the embassy know as well that this is Park Chul's son? It's been more than ten years... I wonder how much he knows.
(the door to the embassy is locked)
Hoon: What, what are you doing? Open the door! Open the door!
Cha Jin Soo (North Korean agent): Park Hoon!
(chase scene on a bridge)
Song Jae Hee: Hoon, leave without me.
Hoon: We're almost there, almost-
(Hoon and Jae Hee are blocked front and back. fight scene ensues)
Hoon: Jae Hee, run, Run!
Jae Hee: Hoon!
(gunshot fires)

Doctor Stranger logo appears

Flashback:
(young Hoon comes out of his house)
Suk Joo: Is this the residence of Dr. Park Chul?
Hoon: My dad is Dr. Park Chul.
Suk Joo: Is he inside?
Hoon: Dad!
Suk Joo: I'm Jang Suk Joo, from the Assembly of National Defense.
(tanks appear on the streets)
Suk Joo: The government predicts that there will be a war occurring in South Korea in few days. The war will begin with a bombing from US.
Chul: What is your reasoning? I'm only a surgeon, and only thing I can do is fix someone's heart.
Suk Joo: Only you can stop the war.
(Park Chul enters an operating room)
SK official (narration): Is it true that we're sending a doctor over to North Korea?
Suk Joo: It was to stop the bombing from the US.
SK official: With a single doctor?
Suk Joo: The bombing will start right after Kim Il Sung, who has currently fallen due to heart disease, dies.
(Kim Il Sung's heart flatlines)
Surgeon #1: His heart stopped! Begin the CPR!
SK official: So the doctor has gone because-
Suk Joo: To fix Kim Il Sung's heart.
Jin Soo: You need to make him live. Dr. Park.
Chul: Hoon.
(a gun points at young Hoon's head. Kim Il Sung's heart beats)
Suk Joo: Turbulent times are what create a hero, and that hero is the one who rules the world.
(Chul and Hoon are at gunpoint)
Hoon: Dad... Aren't we going home?
Chul: I'm afraid we won't be able to return.
(guns are fired)

North Korea, high school/college days:
(Hoon plays a cassette, Wonder Girls' Tell Me is on. Terrible dancing ensues)
Hoon: What do you think? Pretty awesome, no? In South Korea, everybody but spies knows this song. Titled, "Tell Me."
Student #1: How much is that?
Hoon: Two dollars.
Student #2: Run!!
(another chase scene until Hoon realizes he's cornered in. Suddenly a hand appears and pulls him in)
Hoon: Jae Hee!
Jae Hee: Shh!
Hoon: I hear your heart beating.
Jae Hee: Be quiet! I'm already shivering from fear. You know what happens if you get caught?
Hoon: (smiles) It's fate. Heartbeat patterns, you know... they say it's different for everybody. It's like how no two faces are exactly the same. Listen. But yours and mine are the same, see? That's why we're fated.
Jae Hee: What if, what would you do if I suddenly disappear?
Hoon: What should I do? Gonna have to travel all over the world to find you, of course.

North Korea, dark, urgent atmosphere:
Jae Hee: Hoon!
Hoon: Jae Hee! Jae Hee! Jae Hee!
(Jae Hee runs and hugs him. Guards pull her away)
Hoon: Wait, just wait!
Jae Hee: Don't forget me! Okay! Hoon!

North Korea, Kim Il Sung Research Institute:
Cha Jin Soo: This is a place where we do our research to serve our beloved leader and his health. So, once you enter here, you can never leave. You've seen now what happens if you try to leave without permission.
Hoon: I never said I wanted to be here.
Jin Soo: It's the decision from the party. To be the doctor, or the doctor's victim, it is up to your behavior.
Hoon: You're telling me to kill the daughter to let the father live?
Jin Soo: We must show your abilities once again to those Westerners. They okay the deal, and we can get you those expensive medical equipments.
Hoon: Didn't you hear me say that I won't do it?
Jin Soo: Do it if I tell you so!
Hoon: The daughter will die. What are you gonna tell the father once he wakes up?
Jin Soo: Don't act so noble. You've done much worse at this place.
Hoon: And that's why I won't do this anymore.
Jin Soo: Park Hoon!!
Nurse: Doctor, when will the surgery begin?
Hoon: What surgery?
Nurse: It's the one from the special prison.
Hoon: I'm not doing it.
Young Jae Hee: (flashback) I'm Song Jae Hee. And you?

Myung-Woo Hospital:
Oh Joon Gyu (Dean of the medical center, father of Oh Soo Hyun): The number of doctors in the entire country who have signed up for cardiology residency this year is fewer than twenty. Filling up our department with some of the more experienced doctors was only possible because this is Myung Woo Medical Center.
Han Jae Joon: The reason I came to this hospital was because of your words that you will make this hospital the world's best. I believe that we need to have the necessary number of staff members for the cardiology dept, shortage issue aside.
Doctor #1: (runs into the operating room) We have an-

(emergency room, chaos ensues, a little girl screams)
Jae Joon: (to Oh Soo Hyun) What made you decide to leave the Cardiology Dept. all of sudden?
Moon Hyung Wook (Section Chief of Cardiology): Lala- oops, am I interrupting a date?
Joon Gyu: If you want to find what you lost, find a team that can match Han Jae Joon's.
Hyung Wook: From now on, you need to serve me like a master.
Hoon: Master?
Hyung Wook: You are going on a fierce battle with that Han Jae Joon guy.
Jae Joon: You think we can even compete?
