Secret’s Jun Hyosung Dishes on Dating and Upcoming Solo Debut in Sure Magazine



Secret’s Jun Hyosung revealed that dating is hard.

Through an interview in May’s volume of the fashion magazine Sure, Jun Hyosung revealed that “Dating is hard. I don’t know how to truthfully express myself towards people that I like.”

She continued on by saying, “If someone shows me that they like me, I do get excited, but I don’t know what to do about it. If the person that I like suddenly said they like me too, then it gets worse. I contemplate on it and eventually become alone. It has been a while since I’ve felt nervous about someone.”

Jun Hyosung is currently preparing for her solo activity in May and said, “I’m thinking about the concept. I want to show a different image from when I was performing as a member of Secret. I want to show a fresh image that no one has done before but at the same time that matches me.”

Quueeeeeeeeeeen! That Esquire shoot is amazing!!! Wish it was an indication of her concept but I guess not. From the teaser, it looks like they might have something similar to Jieun's solo stuff planned for her? But that wouldn't make that much sense in my opinion. I wish she'd do a dance track or some Beyoncé-like tune, I could see her pulling it off.

I don't think it's been mentioned in here yet, but the tracklisting is as such:

2. Good-night Kiss
3. 밤이 싫어요 {I Hate The Night}

Good-night Kiss is the title track and according to the album description, it's "a dance song with a repeating refrain and is an experimental crossover with TRAP, which has been trending in hip-hop...The melody is derived from American lullabies and combined with an addictive hook"

The regular edition includes a random photocard and the limited edition has a mini poster, photobook, and DVD with the jacket & M/V making. I'm excited about this!!! I'm glad it's a dance track and the description of the album seems to emphasize her maturity, so thank goodness. Hyosung isn't my favorite vocalist in Secret, but she's a fantastic performer and I think this is going to be great! What with this and her new drama, we'll be getting lots of Hyosung and that makes me happy!
