Moon Chae Won, Yoo Yeon Sook courted for That One Day

Moon Chae-won (Good Doctor, Nice Guy) and Yoo Yeon-seok (Answer Me 1994) have received offers to star in the upcoming film That One Day (or The Mood That Day). The movie will be about two strangers, a man and a woman, who meet on the KTX (the high speed train between Seoul and Busan). Using the seaside city of Busan as a backdrop, it will chronicle the events of a single day, and show the two’s brief, yet sweet, romantic pairing. It’s sounding a lot like Before Sunrise in Busan, no?

Moon Chae-won will start work on the big screen rom-com Three Men’s Woman soon, while Yoo Yeon-seok continues to strike while he’s hot — if he takes the role, this would be his fourth film commitment in less than six months. He’s currently wrapping up shoots for Secret Temptation with Im Soo-jung and Tailor with Han Seok-kyu and Go Soo. Both stars’ reps confirmed receipt of the script for That One Day, but were quick to add the project is just one of several under consideration by their clients.

These two leads seem like a really good fit for the film; Moon Chae-won has the acting chops to pull off the subtlety required from the role, while Yoo Yeon-seok has the ability to coax audiences into rooting for his character. I’m hoping these two sign on, as the movie has all the makings of being a poignant story — a reminder of those perfect days we’ve had that we wished would never come to an end.

This movie sounds so unoriginal but it also sounds simple and sweet. Plus I love when Moon Chae Won gets paired up with actors who are as beautiful and talented as she is. i'm saddened that Moon Chae Won doesn't have a tag lol Also, did anyone who lives in the L.A. or O.C. area feel that earthquake? CRAZY.

It did really good in Korea. I think if I'm not mistaken, it received the highest ratings in that timeslot for the whole year for KBS. But man it was sooooo boring. Both Joo Won & Chae Won are one of my very fave actors but even them can't save the boring drama. I wanted to watch the last 5 episodes since months ago but couldn't finish it all since it is just not that interesting.

no, I live in the San Gabriel Valley but it was pretty strong here too. It felt like it last forever and the water in my pool was moving for a while. It was by far the strongest and longest earthquake I've ever experienced.

Oh same. Im in west covina, just a city away from la habra and it really shook. I think it's the Longest earthquake ive felt but not the strongest. I've felt a 6.2 earthquake in the philippines about two years ago and i was on the fourth floor of the building. Im not sure how long that one lasted though since i was running down the buiding and by the time we arrived in the ground floor it was over.

Actually, I think Dramabeans and omona are affiliated? I don't remember where I read it before, but I remember reading something about how we could just repost news articles and not recaps. And if you go to the Dramabeans website, omona is linked at the bottom. You could probably message a mod for the full story because I can't remember where I read it now >_<

I wrote this because we've had this discussion here before and the OP modified her post and wrote to them and apologized because their FAQ clearly says not to repost recaps or news articles. What they said was her mistake was ok because Omona is a comm for kpop so it wasn't malicious. That doesn't give license to repost.

Those people are doing it without permission, and against our wishes. Feel free to link or excerpt, but taking entire posts violates internet etiquette. Possibly also copyright rules, net ethics (nethics?), and basic decency to humankind and kittens. Think of the kittens!

As a YYS lover, I love it when he gets paired up with Moon Chae Won too for the same reason *_____* I was totally over the moon when I get to know this earlier. Why everyone is happy? It is such a boring movie and a boring role for her to play. She and all the talents she has inside deserved better and the movie certainly wouldn't use her potential to the fullest. We get to see her so little every year so when I do manage to see her in anything, I expect it to be good and not boring?

I want her to play an innocent role in her next drama/movie. Nice guy was nice but I want to get the innocent vibe from her since she always strike me as someone who is strong and independent -- which is awesome but to play a completely innocent role (yet strong) will be awesome imo.
