2) Jellyfish was dumb and insensitive enough to put that question in, and at what luck that q gets picked out.

Someone needs to give them a wake up call that this skin tone 'joke' should be stopped, and same goes to you two, RaBin (they did it in the DVD... :/)

Everyone on tumblr was freaking out since he didn't have any major solo activities compared to the rest. When VIXX in Paris video was released, I was so ecstatic to see him being a riot he is. :D (VIXX with babies didn't count because boy was so awkward, he didn't even get to hold the baby, lol). Glad to know that he's still noisy, hilarious, and naughty as he was before <3

Also, I applaud that he didn't add fuel to the fire on the skin issue. He was letting Hakyeon to deal with it and not turn it into a joke. Good job, Ken!

exactly. i remember the vixxtv ep when leo made snowmen versions of all the members, n put black dirt on his to make his dark :| at first, because of that, i thought n didnt mind the joke and was playing into it but after seeing several other shows/interviews it's obvious it's something he's insecure about. it bothers me that the members that do joke about it (b/c i havent heard leo so far make the joke) don't stop when they know it hurts him.

after being into kpop for so long i feel like it shouldn't piss me off so much when members make fun of other member's skin tones for being a hair and a half darker but it still does. that stupid question took me out of the ~fun atmosphere of the vid

I agree... speaking from personal experience as a Chinese when I was little my mother used to talk about how my skin was too dark from playing outside during recess. It definitely affected me on a subconscious level and made me view dark skin as a bad thing.

Of course now that I'm older I've gotten over it but I still think it's wrong to make fun of someone's skin colour especially people like Kai or N who was probably born that way. They're fine the way they are so no one really has the right to tell them to brighten their skin or other rude shit that gets thrown at them on a regular basis. I really hope the the members will eventually learn one day to keep their mouths shut.

Vixx bbs are nomintaed to be on the next showtime. I doubt they'll get the popular and established groups so i think vixx bbs has a fighting chance to be on variety again! The production team of showtime isnt as good as the mtv diary crew tbh who can make running jokes and crazy captions out of the most mundane things. i always wish vixx will do another variety show with the mtv crew because those people know them so well.

I was so happy about this episode, I was waiting so long for the N and Ken fabulousness to arrive and I enjoyed it so much I lost track of the number of times I replayed it haha. But honestly they're just so funny together and they know how to play off each other for jokes so well and it cracks me up. I wanted to jump in there and hug them both in the biggest squishiest hug!!!

And yes that one part was there to spoil what was otherwise a perfect episode of VIXX TV so I was disappointed. I'm with everyone else here who is fed up with it. We do manage to go for a while here and there without any talk of Hakyeon's skin but then someone goes and brings it up again and I want to slap them (to try to knock some sense into them?) because it's got to hurt him and I hate that he thinks his skin is not beautiful ;___; Ok I better stop before I really cry.

I really did miss seeing N and Ken together. I already feel like I need to watch them again though cos it wasn't enough. I dunno how I'd cope without these little weekly top ups of VIXX, I'm awfully attached to them.

MILLION. TIMES. like literally everyone knows the answer to that question can we get some questions for a Q&A we dont already know the answer to smh.

but rly tho i do hope darker skinned koreans stand up for themselves at some point and realize they don't have to take the jokes/comments just bc thats how its always been~. the instances i have seen have all shown that the people being made fun of are uncomfortable so to say it doesn't bother them doesnt rly convince me but what do i know. besides, being more considerate of someones feelings and not making them feel bad about things they had no control over in the first place is great for pm any culture.
