SJ Kangin & VIXX Hyuk to join Law of The Jungle in Brazil

Grabbing the passing baton, Super Junior’s Kangin and VIXX’s Hyuk will be going to Brazil to take over Shinhwa Lee Min Woo and SHINee Onew’s place on SBS’ The Laws of the Jungle.

On March 14, Newsen spoke with SBS, who stated, “Super Junior’s Kangin and VIXX’s Hyuk will leave the country on March 15 to join The Laws of the Jungle Brazil Edition.”

“Kangin and Hyuk will fill in the missing spots for Onew and Lee Min Woo, who must return on March 17 due to schedules.”

Meanwhile, The Laws of the Jungle Brazil Edition will feature Kangin, Hyuk, Ye Ji Won, Bong Tae Gyu, Lee Min Woo, SBS announcer Bae Sung Jae, Oh Jong Hyuk, and Onew as the guests.

I know about this show, but I've never actually took the time to watch. Is it any good? Also wow Hyuk first thing without his hyungs around. I'm worry that he'll be a small awkward turtle and not speak so much. Vixx tends to clam up when they aren't together or around people that they don't know....I shouldn't worry right, he'll be alright...right....right?? I'm not really all that worried about Kangin, beginning in the army he should have basic training and not freak out to much...right??

It is the most high profile guesting ever for a vixx member. And let's be real, he's the most fitting menber to be sent of to the jungle. Maknae is fearless and loves the thrill. He makes the hyungs (even leo) look like a scaredy cat.

i am so excited for bb hyuk! and i agree he's the best suited for this kind of show. i was bummed Onew would have to leave so soon after going, esp since the hosts wanted him for 3 weeks at least but having Hyuk go on helps me feel a bit better. Since i was just saying the other day that he needs to get to do more things solo, esp since they wont give him singing lines -_- and he's witty enough for variety. At least on LOJ he wont have to necessarily talk much to make an impression and I hope he does manage to make one. He's def the most fearless out of the group. Still remember how calm he seemed in comparison to everyone else during that bungee jumping thing for mydol. also he was fully disaffected by the haunted house too (didnt he go alone? lol) altho i never find those fake haunted houses scary tbh, but bungee jumping would've had me acting how hakyeon was. by that i mean a mini breakdown XD

He was paired up with hakyeon. And cha!omma was too scared and couldnt move hyuk got fed up and was like "should i just go alone?" Did the whole mission on his own while leader had his breakdown. Hyuk also VOLUNTEERED to go bungee jumping first cause the hyungs were like pushing each other to go first. The writer was like "leo you go first" and leo was like "why do i have to go first" she must thought quiet chic = fearless mofo! then they played rock paper scissors and ravi got chosen but was complaining the whole time and maknae hyuk was like "can i go first" that was such a great moment for him. And i was really proud of him. And also quite sad knowing it was probs motivated by him wanting to prove his spot and not be a burden to the hyungs since he was the last member to join the group. It was really awesome of him to step up though.

This is such a perfect fit for hyuk tbh. No pressure to be funny. Just be ballsy and brave and put up with whatever challenge. I hope he doesnt get edited out a lot though, iirc chanyeol didnt get tons of screen time and he's more popular than hyuk.

I actually pondered about who from VIXX would be the best to join this show, and initially thought of Leo (he has the essential cooking skills and we could call him JungLeo, oh the pun). However, bb Hyuk is the fearless of them all in VIXX. So I think he'd do fine in terms of the extreme stuff. We thought Chanyeol wouldn't make it but he came back in one piece!

I hope Hyuk won't be too awkward and be quiet all the time. Bring out the sass, maknae!

Hyuk is the VIXX member I'd worry about the least, it doesn't always show on camera but he's quite sociable, and since they'll be filmed interacting with each other and not the camera it'll probably turn out fine.

I've only ever watched a few clips of this show but I'm delighted for Kangin and Hyuk. I personally think Hyuk might be rather awesome on this show, might be his chance to really shine :)

From the few VIXX things I've seen, Hyuk seems to have no problems socializing or being outgoing? He just seems to know when the appropriate time to talk and when not to so sometimes he seem quite but when he lets out his sass, he really brings out the laughs from what I've seen. Idk, he just gives me the vibe that he's ultra confident, always happy go lucky, and knows what he's doing so I don't think there is anything to worry about.

I've never seen this show but I'll watch for him.

Kim Byung-man who acts as the leader does a pretty good job in taking care of them and the stuff they do are not that dangerous. The show's crew are well prepared for emergencies, so you don't have to worry. It's similar to the tv show Survivor minus the crazy challenges tbh.

Good thing is that this show doesnt require him to be funny and talkative to make an impression.
However, it's still really easy to be edited out with a big cast. And he's relatively unknown. :(
I hope he gets a decent amount of screentime that's worth all the suffering and pain he's going to go through in the show
