But it's surprising that people in your country call that type of guys "gays". Aren't you from Poland? Date: 2014-03-15 10:04 pm (UTC)polish men have this problem, they are cute in school but once they became uni students, at instant they become fug monsters. it's some kind of a mystery to me, all my past crushes make me lose my shit when i find them on facebook cause they often look way different now, like i wouldn't recognize them at all. also, the not so goodlooking ones do not get hotter :(
there's a fb page 'polish high school boys', where ppl send their friends pictures, and everytime the guy is less bulky, shaved and has delicate features, he becomes a fag in their minds and people call him names in the comments...

She told me that he didn't look older than 19. And anyway, at least they're cute on school but here they start to get fug since puberty, basically. I mean, there are some cute guys in my current class too, but it's maybe a 10-15%. The rest are fug as hell and I don't like the fact that people look waaay older than their age here. Like the other day I freaked out @ some guy saying he was 22 when he legit looked like your typical dad in his early 30s :/.
That's really shitty tbh. I fucking hate the western mentality of "pretty boy=fag" and "macho guy=super straight and cool". As if appearance had anything to do with sexual orientation. In fact, I know more macho gay guys (beard, stocky frame, etc...) than pretty/delicate ones so that's utter bullshit.

And don't feel old because 20-21 (idk when it's your birthday) is still a semi-fetus, lol. In fact, as much I enjoyed my teen years, I still prefered my early 20s because I wasn't as awkward, moody and insecure as in my teen years. I'd stuck on like 22-24 forever if I could because you're old enough to have completed at least a bachelor's degree and start working in what you like but at the same time you're still young enough to do fun and carefree shit and not being side-eyed for that (unlike in your late 20s where many of your peers are already in the "married&with their first child" stage and it feels weird when you're not like them or don't WANT to be like them).
But tbh, I think nowadays anything below 30 (and even early 30s) is fairly young. Many people even consider the 25-34 period as young adulthood and the 20-24 years as a late adolescence so you're still impossibly young lol.

Date: 2014-03-15 10:18 pm (UTC)i'm an october baby so i still have time before i turn 21 (i don't want to, i never wanted to grow up :(((). actually it's weird because all my girl friends are now divided into two groups: the ones that went to uni and the ones that hasn't finished high school and have kids now.
somehow i'm okay with being on my own now, as i moved from my parents year ago and the sudden responsibility hasn't hit me... as i was accustomed to it as kid, being the youngest among quite older siblings meant i have to quite literally fight for my rights. (i often get side eyed for lots of habits i developed then, like putting a lot of food on my plate before it gets taken by someone else, haha). yet somehow i wonder if the path i have chosen is the best for me, like maybe it's easier now to change work fields than, for example, 15 years ago, but... idk.
