2NE1, CN Blue, and Girls’ Generation to Appear on Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook

Almost a must if you have a comeback, Girl’s Generation, CN Blue, and 2NE1 will appear on KBS’ Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook once again.




On March 11, SNSD and CN Blue appeared at the recording of Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook, performing their latest hits for the audience.


Yoo Hee Yeol poured his affection for the groups, especially SNSD, unable to stop smiling during the recording.



The day’s recording also set a new record for the live broadcast ticket, which had the competition rate of 42:1, presumably because two big groups were performing on the same program on the same day.


According to YG Entertainment on March 13, 2NE1 will also be visiting Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook as well, filming the show on March 18.


SNSD and CN Blue’s performances will be broadcasted on March 14, while 2NE1 will most likely appear on March 21.

well I like snsd but i felt strange about this sentence too. I don't know if you meant they are overrated or if it's for the same reason as me. For me I didn't like this sentence because I've seen a lot of similar words for girls groups but never from a female MC to boys groups. i think it's unnecessary because of that and because it makes women just being there to be looked at. if you think they are overrated, this kind of articles always phrase words like that. cn blue are boys so they wouldn't say it. and 2ne1's show hasn't been filmed yet so they couldn't have talked about the MC reaction ^^

Yeah, the way people comment on female groups has never really sat well with me, but I guess it's viewed as perfectly alright? I'm sure if a female interviewer ever commented on a male group like that, it might be a little eyebrow raising.

ia. i think it's also the journalists themselves, they're probably exaggerating his reaction to snsd for media play. it's what they get paid to do. idk, i guess i am used to hyperbole (smiling the whole time, really?) from these throwaway kpop articles. but yeah, whenever they write about snsd (or any super popular group that's put up on a pedestal), it's always pretty overblown.
