Choo Sarang Donate the Full Earnings from Advertising

A mixed martial artist Choo Sung Hoon and his daughter Choo Sarang’s donation draws attention.

His agency Bonboo Entertainment told TenAsia on March 4, “Choo Sung Hoon has been showing special affection for the multicultural families”, thus “he and his daughter have readily made a decision to donate the full earnings from advertising models to support the families.”

With their popularity from ‘Superman Returns’ Choo Sung Hoon and Sarang recently have been chosen as the new models for ‘EasyDerm’ band aid of Daewoong Pharmaceutical. According to the agency the filming will be held next week once they return.

Regarding to the multicultural families, Choo has been supporting them since two years ago by participating in related events. Furthermore, he is planning to attend the multicultural family sports day on May 24.

According to his agency, “Since Choo himself is a father of a multicultural family he has strong affection for the multicultural families,” and “he will keep on supporting regardless of the popularity.”

He's not mixed but his family is.

he's of the 4th generation of Korean people who went to Japan and his wife is Japanese so I think they don't consider him as japanese and say their daughter is mixed. he has the japanese nationality though... he got it at his majority. it's quite common in many countries for children whose parents are foreigners but for him it's his grand grand parents so I guess they make a difference.

I was hesitant to see the show when I realized they were Japanese but Sarang is the cutest girl on that show.

I'm glad there's some positive images of Japanese-Korean families on Korean television.
