A lot happened in the very short month of February but let's recap some of the music that was posted here that you may have missed out on the first time it came around:
Vidan is a 5 membered girl group that plays traditional Korean instruments. This is their song Opening New Age. Somehow when the drums kicked in with the gayageum, it reminded me of Depeche Mode. Eunjung's vocals have a clear, traditional sound, it's very pleasant but also powerful at the same time.
This female rookie hiphop duo Lip Service did get quite a bit of attention here but I think it deserves a second listen whether or not you like the "yumyumyum" part. They seem a lot of fun but only time (and the general public's reaction) will tell if they'll stick to this image...
Soyou and Junggigo's clear voices go together really well in this midtempo, contemporary R&B (with a bit of neo-soul influence) track. The video is adorable! But it was also distracting. Apparently this song is doing really well in Korea. Here's another post about Junggigo.
Simple drum beats over some really strong synths, which seems to be a sequel of this equally powerful joint. However I can't cosign the lyrics, it seems to be a diss to idol rappers (or maybe underground rappers getting more mainstream recognition? idk tbh) claiming that hip hop is dead. #FOH #RME
A guaranteed feel good song, reminiscent of really good early to mid 2000s rock music back when folks started inputting the electronic sound in their music. If you like that one, maybe you'll like this other one that was posted here called "Distinct Memories of the Common Boy." Sounds like if The Postal Service and Her Space Holiday made a baby together and raised it on Jimmy Eat World, Daft Punk, Dntel and even Coldplay (hey man X&Y is still good). or something idk
Always here for more girl band concepts. I don't know too much about Korean idol girl bands but Bebop sounds the most punk rawk \m/. I know everybody can recognize that chugging guitar sound heard from songs like The Strokes' 'Last Nite' and Jet's 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl.' Might not be for everybody but they sound pretty self-aware about the harsh realities of being an idol.
Innerspace
*title changed from original post
Park Ji Yoon makes her comeback with these two songs that shows off a nice range in genres that complement her sweet voice. First we have the dance track Beep, feeding Korea's addiction to 70s disco music but still maintaining a contemporary feel. Then we have Innerspace, which is much more laidback with its synthpop new-wave feels. Both tracks were written by her but composed by a great team in Mystic89.
Other releases you may like:

Thanks for linking the lyrics to Kikaflo's song. I actually read an interesting post about i11evn defending Rap Monster (http://fuckyeahdaenamhyup.tumblr.com/post/76638859545/140213-i11evns-hiphopplaya-post) on Hiphopplaya. The mindset that someone's music is better just because they're an underground artist is laughable, like one magically loses their talent when they sign themselves over to be in an idol group - THIS ISN'T LITTLE MERMAID. On that note, here's Bangtan cypher from their latest mini in case you haven't checked it out.
