Break Away was good. I don't think it carried the same emotion and strength as the original, but Big Mama are top of the tier. For covering someone so amazing they held their own.

idk, i love break away so much and while spica ladies have nice voices, they kinda made this song sound so basic. like their harmonies weren't enough and the only one who kinda carried some depth and more emotions in her voice was boa...

I like Sistar's cover of it more, more of a vocal dynamic but Bohyung looks gorgeous and their voices sound great. The harmonies were interesting too. Their climax was also wayyyyyyyyyyy better than Sistar's.

Their vocals are on point as always, although ngl their sadfaces during Bohyung's parts in the radio lives made my heart ache ; ; But also, Juhyun laughing at Narae, and Narae laughing along gives me so much happiness, they're all so cute.

I never noticed how tall Boa was until these videos for some reason? Maybe because she's beside Jiwon and Narae?

HAHA Boa's around 171? she's so...long. she always looks like a giant next to Jiwon lmfao. Narae's supposedly ~165 but my friend who just saw her yesterday said that she looks about 163.

I'm completely biased so I agree with you on them being totally cute and endearing :D but really though, this comeback Narae has been especially embarrassing.. and Jiwon too, with the pabo chooming in the MV and on stage omg. on the surface compared to other groups they may seem boring in terms of personality, but they keep surprising me with the things they do and say ♥

oh Boa is definitely at least 171, I've met her (and took a picture :3) and she was like.. towering above me... she's really skinny and tall (and soooooooo attractive omfg)

I only got into kpop at the end of 2012 and discovered Spica during their hiatus between Lonely and Tonight... if only I'd heard of them from debut :( but better late than never! ^_^

it was when they came to Singapore last May (together with AOA and MIB) and yesssss she was so cool ;_; very oppa. much attractive ♥♥♥

2NE1 was the group that broke down my resolve, and then I got into Secret, but now my real true loves are Spica and Nine Muses (with a ton of other nugu groups ;~;)... there's definitely a lot of underappreciated groups out there :(

so far their only overseas trip has been to Singapore! I wasn't expecting them to ever come here.. in fact I was resigned to never being able to see them perform live, so that was a super unforgettable experience. I met them at the airport with two other fans and we got to interact with them for a bit..

I've never gotten particularly into 2NE1 but I've liked what I've heard from them :) And that's so nice, haha, to be a fan of nugu groups :) (I never really got into nugus? But I do like some rookies and idk I guess Topp Dogg count as a nugu group? But I got into kpop via EXO so I sort of stuck with the more ~popular~ groups for a while, haha)

And ahhh, that's so great, that you got to experience that! :) My friend went to see one of her favourite groups when they were in Singapore and she said it was so amazing :)

haha it's a double-edged sword, stanning nugus.. on one hand it's really frustrating to see your faves go unnoticed/under-recognised, but on the other hand small fandoms are really lovely and welcoming :) the Spica and Nine Muses fandoms are wonderful! ♥
