Still didn't watch all of this, but the Missing You one made me happy. They're sounding good, but Park Bom and Dara struggled so much to do their lines :(( Specially Bom, I could see the veins in her neck popping. I love her voice, so she should take a break from the choruses of these kind of songs. Where is the MV??? Anyone knows???
You know, I was thinking... if you put Missing You, which is sadder than anything on Crush, between Gotta Be You and Good To You, and spend that one extra song in the Sad Zone before moving on to CL's solo... it makes all the upbeat songs that come after it sound better. (Yes, even Happy.)
Yeah. CL is totally into it, while Minzy seems a little taken aback to own the stage, but she is well coordinated with CL. Dara is all bubbly like always and in her own little world and Bom seems lost.
Really? I follow 2NE1 sporadically, so I didn't know that we had a pattern here. They all were in the same vibe during To Anyone era and now that I'm watching Crush release closely I noticed the huge difference from the early years. Eh. Minzy will always remain flawless and CL still brings the attitude, so it's ok. lol
With the years they had become like this tbh. But sometimes in a rehearsal some people tend to hold back a little to no tired their voice and ect. Between the comeback stages and the tour they would have to work their voice an energy to death.
They're struggling with their singing and their mics, especially Bom. I'm the type to berate her on her singing but now I just feel sorry for her and I just want her to keep on trying.
I don't think having a band was a right choice for the girls. Should have just had backtrack with pretty much all vocals laid in so that they could just comfortably sing on top of that and lip sync when needed. I worry about their concerts.
I know CL has had the most charisma and stage presence from the beginning so I'm just going to say Minzy has to stop holding back and Bom and Dara have to step it up...then again this is a rehearsal so it'll be different once they have all the fans and their feedback/energy
And I'm glad Bom and Dara were singing into the mics by Scream because the struggle was real before that but i"m going to attribute that to mic adjustments
Minzy must be in love with those pants, shes gotten some wear out of it. Isn't that against some kind of celebrity rule of law, idk. Also I cracked up when she started booty popping in fire because it was unexpected, and I was like "what...?", and I had been prepared to do the move she usually does.
Hopefully we can blame the mics on this current singing failure for now, but I thought it's pretty well known that you should never try to out sing your mic unless your like Patti Labelle.
Random: But I'm starting to think the 4th debut that YG is trying to fit in has something to do with Bang Yedam because he's steadily appearing more and more these days.
I feel like its fair to point out that multiple rhinoplasties can affect nasal breathign which may be why Bom sounds.....not good. CL is a dynamo on stage. You cant take your eyes off her
