AOA’s Seolhyun Suffers Second Leg Injury, Stops Activities

Girl group AOA‘s Seolhyun will push back resuming her activities due to suffering a second leg injury.

A representative of FNC Entertainment announced on February 25, “Seolhyun missed a step while walking down the stairs with crutches, and ended up going to the emergency room. She recently took her cast off and was undergoing rehabilitation, but due to the new injury, she is currently being treated.”

After a thorough checkup, a new cast was placed on her right leg. Even though the injury is not a serious one, it will be difficult for her to continue her activities.

Her agency continued, “She is in stable condition and receiving treatment. We will not hold back on giving her aid in order for her to resume her activities soon with a good state. We are sorry to the fans for causing worry due to the series of injuries.”

Seolhyun hurt her leg back in January while filming MBC’s “Idol Athletic Championship,” and had to halt her activities for six weeks in order to recover from the injury. Due to this, she did not participate in the promotions of “Miniskirt.”

Despite being cast in MBC’s new weekend drama “Hotel King,” she will stop her activities for the time being and will not participate in filming the drama.

We wish Seolhyun speedy recovery!

Awww, that sucks. I do have to say though, she must not really contribute much to the group because AOA's Miniskirt performances were great without her. Didn't feel like someone was missing at all. Then again, I find all the members that are not in the band unit to be kind of disposable tbh.

its good fnc is thinking about her condition but... i just hope this doesnt result in her being taken out of aoa. she has been away for too long.
