☆ CAST☆

Jeon Ji Hyun as Cheon Song Yi
Chun Song Yi is a famous actress who is notorious for her stunning looks and stupidly silly social media updates. She’s at the top of her game and is currently filming a new drama. While stubborn and opinionated, Song Yi is also troubled by the loneliness and isolation that comes with being a top star. When the media gets wind that she hasn’t been attending her graduate school classes, she is forced by her agency to attend on a regular basis. As fate would have it, her professor turns out to be none other than Min Joon, the same Min Joon who also happens to be her new nextdoor neighbor! Ready or not, her fate is already entwined with the stoic alien.


Kim Soo Hyun as Do Min Joon
Do Min Joon is an alien who landed on Earth during the early 1600s. He has lived more than 400 years as a human and prefers to keep his distance from other people. Retaining the same handsome, young appearance since his landing comes with a whole range of difficulties. Every 10 years Min Jin changes his identity in order to avoid suspicion. Not only that, but he also has senses 7x more acute than humans and has the power to stop time and even sometimes see into the future. His vast range of experiences and constant loneliness has instilled in him a sense of detachment and pessimism. According to him, there’s no point for him to be involved with people. Good thing he’ll be returning to his home planet in three months!


Park Hae Jin as Lee Hee Kyung
Lee Hee Kyung is the youngest son of a conglomerate. He is head-over-heels smitten with Song Yi and has been since their middle school days. He doesn’t have much of an interest in the family business and would much rather chase after his love. He’s proposed to Song Yi on multiple occasions, but they have thus far all failed. Don’t worry, this hasn’t stopped him from trying again and again.


Yoo In Na as Yoo Se Mi
Yoo Se Mi plays the second lead both in dramas and in her own life. She and Song Yi grew up together and both decided to pursue acting careers. Worse yet, she is in love with her friend Lee Hee Kyung, but he already loves Song Yi.  Se Mi just can’t catch a break.

I loved these episodes. Little brother was awesome and we finally had some confrontation with the evil hyung. Don't know how I feel about Mr. Alien doing what he did tho. I guess he was desperate?

that ET moment with mr. alien and cutie brother seriously had me in stitches, it was so funny. then we also got doses of srs heartbreak like do minjoon's proposal and that unbelievable sad scene of Heekyung kneeling in front of his dad.

and i love Song Yi sfm, she's awesome. There's just a handful of kdrama lead women that are honest about their feelings and Song yi is just a perfect example for that. Love that she doesn't hide her feeling from Minjoon. So refreshing to see someone that won't just push someone away without revealing the reason behind it. I'm so tired of that crap that a ton of drama characters have done.

I love everything that went down with Hwi Kyung this week. But oh lordy. I hated that Chairman dad after episode 18 so much. Like even more than Jae Kyung. We already know Jae Kyung is a murdering psychopath, but his dad was such a douche (I get that he was in denial about his one son but still it was inexcusable). I hated the way he victim blamed the ex-wife saying she probably “deserved” what Jae Kyung did to her and how she was just a “toy” for him and then later what he said about Song Yi deserving what she got too. That part had my blood boiling so bad. I’m was almost glad that Hwi Kyung got disowned by him (although I guess now he's back?). But poor bb. I just want everything to turn out all right in the end for him and for him to be happy in life :(

Min Joon’s vision of disappearing is so worrying. I was trying to convince myself that he was just becoming human, but that vision shattered everything, especially since he hasn’t been wrong yet on them. UGH. I’m trying to convince myself right now that it’s going to end up like some Disney movie where he’ll be dissolving into light particles then he’ll finally tell Song Yi that he loves her, it’ll be his saving grace, then in a burst of light he’ll be all whole again and human a la Beauty and the Beast style~

I can’t believe next week’s the end of it. Someone’s going to need to hold me and bake me cupcakes or something :’(

I'm pretty sure its gonna be a happy ending. It is a romantic comedy and the netizen will not settle for anything else. He probably left for his home planet and Song Yi will still waiting for him despite saying she will move on. 5/10 years later, he managed to find his way back to earth and they will be reunited again -- I'm pretty much sure its gonna end like this. Well, I was hoping for her to be pregnant so when he sees her again, it will be with a lil girl/boy hahahaha! XD

THIS SHOW HAS TAKEN OVER MY LIFE.
it was a constant battle of tears over the course of this week. I'm just so glad the writers are taking the bittersweet happy times first instead of wasting time pushing and pulling. Hwikyung has earned a place in my heart, such a great development with him.
IDEK what's going to happen next, the show has been breaking my heart so much. Please, oh please, don't shatter me.

Now that Jaekyung is in jail I we can move on from that sub story and work on
Semi and Hwikyung I want them to end up other or at least have a happy ending
