HII EVERYONE! OMG I MISSED THESE! I'VE BEEN BUSY WITH WORK AND I COULDN'T BE HERE BUT HI! HOW'S EVERYONE?? HOW'S YOUR HEALTH OMONA? EVERYONE GOOD? (i've realized how good chen and krystal would look good together but whatever, ignore...)
Today started off as such a nice Friday. Well I had a doctor's appointment but my mom took off to go with me (it was an echocardiogram). Then we went out to eat and got some dessert and it was really nice day overall.
Unfortunately, we found out today my aunt (well my mom's cousin, but she's basically like an aunt) has uterine cancer. The doctors removed a tumor to check if it was benign or cancerous. It's high-grade, though not sure what that means (looking it up). Her and my mom are close, so she's distraught too. Going to go see her tonight since she lives a couple hours away. Hopefully it all goes well and she can get rid of this. I feel bad for her, things seems to never work out for her. She has such terrible luck.
This too a couple weeks after my dad's cousin passed away from breast cancer. I've spent the last 7 months volunteering in the cancer department at the hospital, so seeing a lot of cancer lately.
__ I've loved watching the Olympics this year, even if there are some moments that made me sad. Kind of sad it's all over on Sunday =( At least there is a new one every 2 years.

gonna comment also and maybe draw more attention to the accomplishment (seriously, I used to think getting on the first page was a big deal when I first came here).
I'm one of the few who's not been watching the olympics. Been making money so je ne regrette rien~ Everyone at school/work has been watching the games on the background. yeahn some of us have actual work to do lol
I'm supossed to be studying for yet another exam (but this time it's the las one this term). This time it's the history of english-speaking countries (yaaay).
Btw. I have a question. Because I'm insomniac I found that if I sleep with earphones and some music on it's much easier to fall asleep without druggin myself with pills. I like to play soundtracks especially the ones from Kdramas. But lately I haven't heard anything new and it's hard to look since everyone are reccomending songs and I'm interested in scores (instrumental). So I wanted to ask you: Is there anything you can recommend me? I am looking for something like "Nana's theme" from City Hunter or Guardian Angel from The Secret Garden.

Reading Week is over and after having failed (aka 60s but still...) midterms I am sad to see the last of my freedom go. It's time to go hard at studying. Fuck uni omg.
Hello, Omona~! This is the first FFA I've managed to catch in a while, which has a lot to do with the fact that I have a boyfriend now and, like a pet, he requires attention and maybe food, I guess. There's been a whole bunch of other stuff happening in my life, especially with my upcoming career - I've already lined up my training dates, but there's still so much to do and parse out before I graduate college in May. Life's been a real whirlwind this past month or so, but it's been real exciting and I can't wait to see how everything else is going to pan out!
I hope everyone's year so far has gone well - sometimes it already feels like we're in the middle of 2014 when we're only a month and a half into it. :/

my family and i went to the grand canyon last weekend. it was an amazing sight to experience. i went to the grand canyon when i was 5, so obviously i don't remember much, so i'm glad i was able to experience it again when i could remember it this time. and the resort room we stayed in was literally a mini house.
Hi everyone! I hope things are going well. The Google On Hangout I talked about last week went amazing! Purekpopology even participated. I had so much fun. Lauren, Michael, and I, who fans could see, even ended up talking for five hours after the stream ended. lol That was the first time I met Michael, and he's so cute, and so nice, and such a cute SNSD "fangirl." (He says he fangirls not fanboys.)
A few days ago somebody said something in a post that really stuck with me. They said that Minzy was very talented but she didnt have the "it" factor and I think that applies to a lot of idols but there are a lot of different combinations. Like for example
Talent+ Some It factor + A shitty company that wont utilize it = Groups like DGNA who are immensely talented but unfortunately are in a company that wont take advantage of it. On some level I think this applies to spica too because we all know how well they can sing but their company has yet to find a song that really uses their voices.
Talent + A few solid hits + not a lot of it factor= Groups like Teen Top etc etc
Talent + It factor as a group but not really individually+ Some solid hits = Vixx etc etc. I think a lot of groups go in this category. They really shine together but not some much on their own.
and sometimes
Talent+ Mass Appeal (not exactly it factor) + Some hits= Groups like SJ etc etc
I dont think this applies to just kpop though. I saw somebody on tumblr talking about how there werent really any divas anymore like Mariah, Whitney, or Celine and its not for a lack of talent. There are so many girls out there who can sing but they just lack the mass appeal/it factor and the right songs.
so i'm going to korea for spring break, it'll be my first trip outside of the states /without/ my parents n i'm really excited n anxious lol. just wondering if there were any omonians living in or who have been to korea here?
i've been working on my itinerary, but idk where should i go!! any tips on getting around?
Are your parents hard to convince? I've been trying FOREVER to let my parents go to Korea, AND this is with a friend who speaks fluent Korean!! Ughhh lol
I've never been there but I've heard subways are the best - cheap and fast I think although crowded. For longer distances I think people use the KTX train?
I sexted a coworker. I think she liked it too. It was just a picture of me with my some buttons undone and leaning forward so you can see inside better. And I know it's the cool thing to do, because I'm the guy that used to tie a bandanna around my jean leg in high school, so I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing...
