Bora and Hyolyn Visit an Abandoned Dogs Shelter

SISTAR’s Hyolyn and Bora recently visited an abandoned dog shelter, showing their support for animal welfare.

On February 14, KARA, the animal protection civic group, posted on their official Twitter, “A friendly guest has visited Ggong Ggong’s protection center. The wind was cold, but as the sky was clear, it seemed that we would hear good news. SISTAR’s Hyolyn and Bora came to visit Ggong Ggong’s residents.”

Along with the message, a photo showed the SISTAR members warmly embracing the dogs, showing genuine love and care. Singer Lee Hyori, known for advocating on behalf animal welfare, retweeted  KARA’s tweet, and also expressed, “The hardest thing for humans and dogs is loneliness. If you love them, then don’t leave them lonely.”

We hope that SISTAR can continue to spread the importance of loving and caring for animals in order to reduce the maltreatment of animals in our society.

awww I hope there is more awareness in korea (and everywhere) about puppy mills too :(
