1. Music = Technically, ‘Mr. Mr.’ is not an R&B song. It’s a dance song with some R&B flavor. The only thing that ‘The Underdogs’ did was fuse the Soshi sound with a touch of R&B. It’s an easier sound to digest than last year’s IGAB which was a hybrid of different genres. But still, they haven’t forgotten to include unique lyrics and addictive

melodies.

2. Performance = The focus of the dance will be their formations. The girls will move in formations with the music. There won’t be any props, performances will be expressed through only dance.

3. Style = They won’t be involving themselves in the sexy trend. It won’t be 19+ rated. Rather than skin exposure, they’ll be using their personalities. You’ll see that fashion is a big part in the teaser. Yoona’s dress, Taeyeon’s cuteness, Seohyun’s unique style. Each member will be sporting unique fashion.

4. Music Video = The concept is ‘mystery girl’. This is something you can tell just from the teaser. It’s unclear if the setting is a hospital room or a laboratory. Did you think with the male model, there was going to be sexy scenes? Forget about it. He’s just the extension of the title.

5. Album = SNSD will be coming out with a mini album. The plan is that there will be 4-5 songs including the title song. The genres will be unique. The inclusion of SNSD’s classic dance songs are a given. They will also be trying new sounds. You’ll also get a feeling of SNSD’s mature vocals.

6. Participation = Music, performance, style, all across the board, the girls were involved in by contributing ideas. Especially the way they recorded. They even consulted with the songwriter to add in very detailed ad-libs. The girls also worked with the visual director to pick fashion items that fit each members the best.

A technical error forced Girls’ Generation to delay the release of the its new single “Mr. Mr.” and its new album just days before their releases.

“When we were editing the video, we learned that some of the important data in the music video had been deleted,” said the group’s agency, SM Entertainment.

The new single was supposed to be released Feb. 19 through online music stores, but it has been rescheduled for Feb. 24.

“The music video is one of the most important parts of promoting the new mini-album, so in order to ensure a better result, we decided to rearrange the girls’ schedule,” SM added.

Girls’ Generation’s 2013 single “I Got A Boy” recently topped 85 million views on YouTube. The video won the video of the year award at the inaugural YouTube Music Awards last year, beating out such international acts as Justin Bieber and One Direction.

The teaser video for “Mr. Mr.” has already shot past three million views on YouTube in just a week.
