in the other news tickets for their upcoming concert in Seoul on the 22/23rd are still on sale here
to be fair it's really great that the fans' cries for concert reached the company and this is fairly organised , still with such a high goal in a short notice I don't think it's going to happen , not to mention high ticket prices (well to be fair again these are VIP tickets)

Date: 2014-02-18 05:58 am (UTC)They should have included some tiers that are just regular ticket prices + merchandise, I'd see Teen Top in NYC but not for $150.

Date: 2014-02-18 06:30 am (UTC)First off the deadline is way too short. I mean 5 days? really? The only groups, from what I remember, who were able to sell out an individual concert in New York was Big Bang (1 day) and B.A.P. So to expect at least 75% ($150,000) in such a short time is really ambitious
Second are the prices. Yeah I get that they are VIP but is it really necessary to have 4 different times of VIP tickets? They are basically saying they want to sell 1000 high priced tickets. Sure I like teen top but not enough to want to dish out $150 for the cheapest ticket. Hi-touch? fan sign? i don't really care about those. I mean its not really VIP if almost half of the venue has it. They should have included the balcony seats and not VIP standing tickets if they wanted to reach the goal faster. Cus a big majority of fans who go to kpop concerts in the states aren't necessary stans for that group but kpop fans in general.
Okay I don't know why I ranted so much, but I just wanted to vent my frustration about this krowdpop thing. If they do end up selling the 75% then i'll just buy the regular tickets then xD

Date: 2014-02-18 07:20 am (UTC)Side note: I think it would hilarious if people voted for Portland, OR because L. Joe lived in Beaverton for a while. He went to high school with some of my best friends.

Date: 2014-02-18 08:26 am (UTC)but i'm confused, they talk about other cities but this is just for nyc? so they'll have to raise money for each show? idk. i hope they make it, i love them.

Date: 2014-02-18 08:40 am (UTC)i paid like 110 dollars to see them in barcelona (cheapest tix) and while everyone who didn't go complained that the price was too high, it was honestly the best concert i've been to. teen top were like, 2 feet away from me. it was such a personal concert, such a small venue, i even ended up leaving thinking 110 dollars was a cheap deal for it.
i think they could do it, but the deadline is too soon... idk if they'll go through with it when the funding flops :(
