Jeon Ji Hyun as Cheon Song Yi
Chun Song Yi is a famous actress who is notorious for her stunning looks and stupidly silly social media updates. She’s at the top of her game and is currently filming a new drama. While stubborn and opinionated, Song Yi is also troubled by the loneliness and isolation that comes with being a top star. When the media gets wind that she hasn’t been attending her graduate school classes, she is forced by her agency to attend on a regular basis. As fate would have it, her professor turns out to be none other than Min Joon, the same Min Joon who also happens to be her new nextdoor neighbor! Ready or not, her fate is already entwined with the stoic alien.


Kim Soo Hyun as Do Min Joon
Do Min Joon is an alien who landed on Earth during the early 1600s. He has lived more than 400 years as a human and prefers to keep his distance from other people. Retaining the same handsome, young appearance since his landing comes with a whole range of difficulties. Every 10 years Min Jin changes his identity in order to avoid suspicion. Not only that, but he also has senses 7x more acute than humans and has the power to stop time and even sometimes see into the future. His vast range of experiences and constant loneliness has instilled in him a sense of detachment and pessimism. According to him, there’s no point for him to be involved with people. Good thing he’ll be returning to his home planet in three months!


Park Hae Jin as Lee Hee Kyung
Lee Hee Kyung is the youngest son of a conglomerate. He is head-over-heels smitten with Song Yi and has been since their middle school days. He doesn’t have much of an interest in the family business and would much rather chase after his love. He’s proposed to Song Yi on multiple occasions, but they have thus far all failed. Don’t worry, this hasn’t stopped him from trying again and again.


Yoo In Na as Yoo Se Mi
Yoo Se Mi plays the second lead both in dramas and in her own life. She and Song Yi grew up together and both decided to pursue acting careers. Worse yet, she is in love with her friend Lee Hee Kyung, but he already loves Song Yi.  Se Mi just can’t catch a break.

I found these two episodes particularly frustrating, especially the first one. this lex luther/superman complex with evil hyung and alien oppa is aggravating me. i felt like the plot "twist" that prevented dmj from doing what he needed to do with evil hyung was cheap. not pleased.

but at least alien oppa had so many cute scenes in the last episode. i died @ this whole scene ;~;

i guess ep 14 would have worked better if it wasn't too long since ep 13 aired. i mean it felt like the whole thing was dragged out since they sort of ~retold what happened before the incident for like the entire episode also maybe it came off as too dramatic that i was like woah they really went that way (songyi falling was too cruel and it was even crueler that i have to watch it two times!!!)

nevertheless i loved that minjoon let evil hyung experience what songyi went through. that leaves more trauma and impacT imo he's gonna be more paranoid to not lose anything (i was scared that minjoon won't do it because he's supposed to be ~purely good and do the right thing fsr lol)

also bow to hui kyeong getting all that info tho i really fear for his life hmm

and i thought semi would apologize and ask songyi to be friends again!!! smh why does it always have to be about a man

loved all the funny moments ep 15 too lmao netizens were not ready for an alien using ancient snark + of course that line scene deadddd

Oh god. Hwi Kyung knows! He knows! He knoooooow! Idk why but I'm really glad he heard that whole conversation between Min Joon and Jae Kyung. I'm slightly worried for him, but I think it's important that he knows everything now and him and Min Joon will become even better allies at keeping Song Yi safe.

The ending of 15 had me screaming. God god. Finally. I was starting to get annoyed with Min Joon. He better not try something stupid and brushing that all off. I'm concerned for him though since that kiss looked like it had a lot more action than the one on his couch. Boy is going to get sick again. Also, that statue of The Little Prince in the background was perfect. I hope it's not foreshadow to his own fate though. This drama's going to break my heart :( ♥

ugh this drama is falling apart and going down in quality episode by episode. like what's up with 'i can't kill humans or else i'll die too' plot? so what happens if you almost kill him, like break all his limbs and leave him stranded in the middle of sahara? you didn't *kill* kill him. can you get away with that?

and semi's logic on unrequited love makes no sense and i fully blame the writer for that. semi could have been such a great character, the villain you could feel for but hate at the same time, but then the writer just stopped caring about her i think and now nothing she says makes sense or is agreeable with the audience.

i'm thinking the overlap in some plot devices with that webtoon made the writer freak out and change a lot of the plots but now the story is so weak and it's just relying on the two main characters to lead the show... and i'm getting tired of the comedy in the show, it seems repetitive: the characters screw up, they play up their actions and emotions, and pretend they didn't the next moment.

ughhhhh this could have been so gooooooood now i'm just gonna watch i hear your voice and wait for lee bo young's and lee jong suk's new drama (neither of which will be funny, probably all serious D:)

well if you think about it, he could physically injure him/break his legs etc etc but then evil hyung is still alive, still conscious, and still capable of hurting songyi and DMJ and blaming him for his injuries. so it doesnt do much :/ he's a very powerful person

I get really happy when Songyi's mother straightens up and defends her, like the qt argument with Lawyer Jang, but she always effs up like 5 minutes later.

They could have kept all the plot elements revealed in EP14. It was less clunky when I thought he couldn't kill just because of morals or something, but the "kill and be killed" thing is just an unnecessary add-on.

OMG EPISODE 15 WAS PERFECT!

It's about time Alien Oppa let Song Yi know how he feels about her. Even though I couldn't be happier about it, a part of me worries about how this show will end.

How cute was Lawyer Jang arguing with Song Yi's mom? It's adorable how protective he is of Alien Oppa!

Also, can they please show Alien Oppa in the shower again, not just post-shower?

these episodes dragged on a bit, esp with all the rehashing in ep 14. that lame plot twist was the worst tho. i've been waiting for them to resolve the killer hyung plot line so the drama could refocus on min joon's departure, and they're thankfully closing in on him. i'm glad hwi kyung heard everything and is doing some digging! i feel bad too, bc killer hyung is still his brother, but it's a nice source of conflict.

i wish he could've left the line message alone!!! sigh. and his username lol

more bokja as always pls, still upset about semi, and the dad plot was almost funny bc it was resolved so quickly and his reasons for staying away were so weak i can't

I love this drama, but I think it would be better if they only had 16 episodes. Ep 14 dragged and evil hyung plot needs to go, actually, they should have finished it by ep 10
Cute and romance are still everything, I wouldn't mind if they killed evil hyung in the next episode and then we get few episodes of making out and cuddling /no shame

Plot's dragging a little; I wish they would wrap shit up with evil hyung already. I still think he's going to end up in an asylum, since Min Joon can't kill him. (Which was a kind of weak plot point - I thought maybe he just had some alien morals going on and we were going to see a struggle with that but w/e.) I wish we could go back to having lots of cute and funny, since that's where this show's strength seems to be. I'll take crazy jealous and accidentally-texting Min Joon though.

Ep 14 was full of flashback, it was a bit boring but ngl I was biting my fingers waiting, wish he killed Evil hyung and get rid of him.
but OMG that kiss at the end was the highlight for me, I totally screamed and clapped LOLLLLL

I just had my friends sit down and watch the first four episodes straight last night and they love it! I'm trying to get one of them (my housemate) to hurry up and catch up so I don't have to spend my Tue and Wed night freaking out on my own. I mean she already hears me squealing late into the night, why can't she just join in???

Hopefully next week will be better and we can all pretend that episode 14 didn't happen...

So glad Hui Kyeung knows it all now. He's become smarter and smarter as the show progresses lol I really think evil hyung doesn't give a shit about his lil bro now and I'm worried.
