Announcement from YGEX's website:

“Taeyang’s solo album release (in Japan), which was scheduled on March 12, has been postponed to May 28 due to various circumstances.
To all the fans who had been anticipating, we are very sorry for the inconvenience, and we ask for your continued support for Taeyang.”


Note: YGEX usually opens album reservations early, but since they're still dependent on YG Korea's schedule, release dates sometimes get postponed/delayed. The same thing happened last year with G-Dragon's solo album.

Big Bang's album takes precedence over any solo album right now, but I feel sorry for Taeyang :|

Also, Japanese album? Is there any word about his Korean one? should have just released it with Ringa Linga, I don't get it (although that timing also wasn't perfect as every Big Bang member except Daesung was releasing things at that time. Seriously, what strange timing YG often has.)

Oh YB can't catch a break. He's my least favorite BB member, I just don't find him attractive at all lol but I think that his mini and full album are the best and most solid of all the solo efforts in the group. If only more time means more quality music, and not YG making a bigger mess of things.
