1. [+346, -31] Honestly, I couldn't concentrate during her scenes. Scenes with child actors are supposed to be emotional like Kim Yoo Jung with Han Ga In in 'The Moon...' but she doesn't give me that feel in her scenes.

Actually, I think she's just fine -- both her acting and how she looks.

But I actually wondered why they didnt cast Kim Yoojung / Kim Sohyun instead. I mean, this is a high profile drama with high profile actors, so I thought they gonna cast someone really establish to play Song Yi's younger version like what they did in The Moon That Embraces the Sun. The whole child casts in that drama were basically flawless. I can even can see Kim Soohyun in Yoo Jingoon in the earlier episode. That is some awesome actor selection when both the young and the adult actor were very much like each other -- both in voice and mannerism..

I think Kim Hyunsoo is pretty good? I haven't really seen her in anything though (except The Crucible, but I don't remember her). Though I can imagine if they're trying to get romantic chemistry between her and Soohyun that would be super awkward and weird.

EDIT: Actually she was fantastic in The Crucible, I just remembered who she was.
