Son DamBi became the head of her household when she was just a teen

Her glammed up looks and hot dance moves never suggested even the slightest hint of hard life or even sadness. But her real life is in fact not as glamorous one would thought that it might be. It has been seven years since the singer, Son Dambi practically became the sole person in charge of her household; then, her father had suffered a brain stroke and partial paralysis, rendering him being unable to work, putting the entire family in dire straits.

During an interview with the singer’s father, he recalled that no matter how busy/tired she was, she would always stopped by the hospital to check on him and would massaged his paralyzed arms and legs. He also shyly shared that he’s grateful to have a daughter like her, but felt bad that he couldn’t be a strong father. She has been working on full throttle since her debut and supported her parents and also finally getting a new home for her family.



I am not trying to write a puff piece, but Son Dambi should be rewarded not only for being an incredible singer and performer, but also for her courage and devotion to her father, because I cannot imagine how hard it must have been to support her family at such a young age. I wish the best of luck for her upcoming new album, and hope that her father will get better soon.

I cannot imagine doing that as a teen.
My dad has been in the hospital in since december and because of one medicine he needs he lost all his muscles and he cant move. Its been super hard on me and my family having to visit and help him since we have school. But at least there is hope that my dad will get well with therapy and regain his muscles and start walking again.
Plus its super expensive
