Both SHINee’s Jonghyun and Lee Yubi’s agencies denied the recent dating scandal.

SM Entertainment told enews on January 29, “He’s friends with Lee Yubi. They are not dating,” and added. “They are just a part of a group of close friends.”

Sidus HQ, Lee Yubi’s agency, also said, “We checked and confirmed with her that they are not dating. They are close friends, and are just a part of a group of friends who hang out often.”

A press reported on January 29, that Jonghyun and Lee Yubi are currently dating, gathering the attention of many. But both of their agencies strongly denied the news report, claiming that they are just friends, who are part of a group of close friends.

Sidus HQ rep also said, “I think the scandal broke out, since they are still young and hang out often. They are nothing more than close friends.”

Sidus HQ has aired their side of the story with regards to the dating scandal that concerns actress Lee Yubi.

The agency has denied the dating rumours between SHINee’s Jonghyun and Lee Yubi, citing the earlier news reports as unfounded. The statement coincides with SM Entertainment’s published report.

Meanwhile, Davichi’s Kang Minkyung has released her own statement after her name was mentioned as the “bridge” of the said scandal. Speaking through Core Contents Media, Minkyung confirmed that she is friends with the actress, but denies her involvement. Thus citing the reports as baseless.
