Girl’s Day will have lunch with 300 very, erhm, presumably enthusiastic fans for “Something” hitting #1 on the charts.

Their label said, “On the 22nd at noon, Girl’s Day will be inviting 300 fans to Gangnam’s Patio 9 to buy them lunch and talk with them.” They added, “The girls are planning to have lunch and talk with their fans because they’re thankful for winning #1. The 300 fans who were to have lunch with Girl’s Day applied within a minute [of the event opening].

Yup. Others have done this. I know vixx has had boat dates and restaurant dates with their fans and recently bought chicken and ate with hundreds of fans. But they have harmless teenage fans mostly? I think the creepy factor is because most of the people who'll show up to the event will probably be ajusshis drooling over girlsday?

the creepy ahjussi part is assumption, right? or is it based on the past events? I don't really follow girls day closely so I have no idea.
I think this kind of generalisation is quite harmful.

I dont follow them closely, but i think the last time they did that pool event? Idk if it was a pool but there was water for sure. Uhmm, yeah i think that became sort of a mess and even caused backlash. Most fans in the audience were males.

Idk but someone above mentioned a free hug event too.
