in defense of junu's parents it never seems intentional. there will always be a difference in how you treat your kids according to what you think they might individually need. I mean even hwijae ends up having to treat each twin differently me and my little sister are four years apart as well and i see alot of similarities (from when i was junu's age) between my own family and hyeonsung's interactions with his kids. the thing that can be dangerous about a four-year agegap that the maturity of the oldest will seem vast in comparison with the youngest, but like junu said, he's still young too. My own parents treated me with the expectation of someone much older than i was, and while it may have hurt my feelings at the time and perhaps forced me to grow up a little faster than most, the longlasting effects i don't think were detrimental. i think as long as they are made aware of their fault and take steps to improve, we can't blame them too badly
sorry for the rant this show just gives me a lot of ~feelings~
it's really good. no, it's not a rip off at all. the show is basically just stuff parents would do with their children; the dads take their kids to places like the zoo, tourist attractions (e.g mt fuji) or attend talent classes like ballet or taekwondo, and their interactions are always priceless. the thing about this show is it has a lot heart and the adorable kids are endearing, lovable and they all have different engaging charms. (did I mention that the parents are really wonderful too?) watching a 2-yo eat might possibly be more entertaining than a 1hr talk show, lol.
omg yeah I was just talking about this with my friends, that we're already at the age when we prefer watching toddlers eating than young idols acting sexy/cute/whatever
concept of celebrity dad + kid was an obvious rip off of appa odiga but there's the difference in that what the dads do with the kids is completely up to them, not like a camping trip like appa odiga
but similar to appa odiga, the relationship and interactions between the kids and their dads is terribly endearing and the kids are super adorable!!!
alright you've convinced me XD I was just a bit annoyed because everytime I'm describing appa odiga everyone always think it's superman (we got kbs world on cable here) but yeah shouldn't hold it against them, and I like twin babies (or toddlers)
this ep is SO awesome, like from the first sec to the very last (tho you could say the same for every ep). haru and sarang always take me by surprise.. the part where tablo was visiting and talking about his dad hits me hard. blo is really blessed to meet hyejung and have such a precious daughter at his lowest point of life. sarang is soooo smart! she's good at using the utensils, knows how to wear her socks and shoes, she learns things just by watching (rmb her saying 'happy birthday' even though the words were jumbled up?!)
junwoo is so sensible and strong... you have no idea how much tears were pouring the moment he told his dad about his feelings.. and junwoo didn't even cry lol. (I feel like I'm the 11-yo now)
Sarang is just 2 yo but yet she can do all that. i can just sit and watch her do anything
Junu is such a good kid. indeed very sensible as well. you can tell that he really love his dongsaeng even though he thinks that his parents care more about Junseo. when he said ' it's not your fault' i just want to hug him.i'm glad he speak up to his dad about his feelings
there are times where I'm envious of the cameramen in the tent, and the editing team as well, because I want to save all the recorded clips for myself.. I meant that as the non creepiest way possible lol. sarang is just too cute.......
junu omg are you meee? made me cry when he set up the breakfast and when he emphasised to junsu that it wasn't his fault that junu felt taht he didn't get any praise
also haru is forever chic as hell and i love it... i need to hear more of her musical compositions, i am so here for the echoey ~haruuu
sarang eating gives me joy and her being able to do so many things at age 2! i seriously hope that sunghoon considers a second child ;~; i'm excited for the next ep (i think they'll upload it sometime this week, like the stunt they pulled last week)!
again, i want to cuddle junu AND JUNSEO and HARU ARE SUCH CHIC CHILDREN.
the twins are growing up and smiling more~ i want to munch on their cheeks xD
