DSP and Rainbow stated they wanted to showcase a more mature sound with this album and sub-unit.

DSP's singers have lots of potential to be pretty amazing, but yeah, DSP manages them badly. It's like they pour their money and resources for one group and forget the rest.

The producers Rainbow works with tend to be good. They just keep switching who they're working with, but it does help them not stagnate musically.

this is definitely a more mature sound. it's almost un-kpop for me. i hope dsp can take better care of rainbow (and ajax). they really have all the potential to be bigger.

btw, do you know why this is called a special album?

Been wondering that myself. Maybe since it's a sub unit album?
And the songs sound a tiny bit more of what I'd here in the Urban Korean scene rather than idols.

sme also called exo's Christmas album a special album. and the song promoted didn't feature all of the members. maybe it's a new way of calling it a sub-unit album?

the title song was sung by 3 (then later 4) of the members. hopefully dsp or the girls will explain why it's called a special album.

I didn't really have any expectations going in but omg these tracks actually sounds amazing! Especially Silhouette. I guess now that Kara is done for, DSP is focusing more on Rainbow.
