MR.MR's Interview at Live Arch Vol. 3 in Japan

"Men Among Men", Mr.Mr held their first solo live in Japan for the first time.

On the 8th January, Mr.Mr performed in “Live Arch Vol.3" that was been held in Akasaka BRITZ (Blitz), Tokyo, whereby they put in all of their strengths and efforts into their performance.





They started the performance with “Who’s That Girl" and "Waiting For You”, showing off their manliness and the fans that showed up during the event was very enthusiastic.

After the Ice Breaking session, three of the members, Jin, Tey & Ryu sang “My Everything”. Furthermore, Tey & Ryu perrformed “I feel Good" and "Mark The Knife”, showing off their singing skills (reaching high notes).

During the first Q&A session, Mr.Mr was asked about their ideal type, whereby;-

• Doyeon : People with beautiful eyes (eye pupil)


• Tey : A person that is cute in the morning and sexy at night


• Jin : Anyone that loves me, all of you


• Ryu : An elder person (noona) that can lead me, and also a person with a fragrant scent (sweet smell)


• Changjae : A partner that are considerate that likes a sensible guy (like me)

For the second part, Japanese comedian Tian Jin Kimura (The person in pink kimono on the picture) appeared as the supporting guest during the event and asked them a direct question, “Did you guys read adult books (naughty books)" . Jin replied, “a few”. Whereby, Changjae that seems to be the “brain of Mr.Mr" answered "I love reading books, so I read various genres of books”

In addition, they were asked regarding their challenge for this year (what they want to do), and Ryu answered, “I want to appear in musical”. Something cute happens whereby Jin and Tey seems to forgot about the question that were being asked to them. Tey confessed, “I want to appear in musical again and also challenge the movie (to act in a movie)”. Jin said, “I would like to perform in Tokyo Dome”. While Doyeon commented, “I want have a Tour(national concert/showcase) in Japan”. “I want to appear in movies and also TV. However if there’s an opportunity I would like to appear in TV together with Tian Jin Kimura-san”, said Changjae.




Next, they’re having “rock-paper-scissor" game, whereby it was being played by three members, Jin, Changjae, and Doyeon. The fan that wins the game win themselves an autographed CD.

The winners did not just win this (CDs), the members also brought their personal belongings, including tank tops to be given to the fans as gift.

• Ryu give away his lucky pink shirt that he wore during the audition (to be a part of the group),


• Jin give away his ring that was made during the shooting that have a lot of emotional value in it.


• Additional info: Changjae gave his favorite book, and Doyeon gave his favorite pants (this was a tip given by Japanese fans)

With the time remaining, they perform their own song, “Do You Feel Me" and "Highway”. They also showed off their sining ability (to reach high notes) with “Only Human”, One Litre of Tears OST song, “그런가봐요" (Korean version of "Tsunami" by Southern All Stars) which is a famous song in Japan, sung in a very nice harmony.

Mr.Mr members, for the first time having a successful solo live in Japan, said that, “Today was really fun”. Jin said, “I am glad to perform in this beautiful ARCH (bridge) event"[What he meant here is that LIVE ARCH itself was actually an event that act as the "bridge" to connect two countries, Japan and Korea]. "Having first live (first concert), I am very glad to meet all of you. The cheer(support) today is very hot(amazing). Changjae, before leaving the stage,”See you again”.




After the event ended, they’re having a “High Touch" event with all of the fans that have gathered during the venue. The members said that the "LIVE ARCH" event has given them a wonderful memories with fans, and the mood was very high (they are so excited), whereby they pleased the fans by not just having a high five, but also lifted both hands and also held their hands.

After 1 year of debut, Mr.Mr have become more manlier. Having a distinguished charisma and singing skills, we hope for their success in the future.

Ryu with his fringe up OTL He's not my bias but he looks soooo good. And Hon didn't go, probably because he only knows the choreo for one of their songs.

Yay! MR.MR news.

I feel bad for Hon though. I remember them guesting on Arirang Radio and I don't know if it was Highway or Waiting For You, but he pretty much just sat there silently while the others sang. =(

Anyway, hope they comeback soon and keep up the style they've had. Especially "Do You Feel Me" being so fresh-sounding.

Yeah, I hope Hon will have some parts in the future. He's in the group and yet he has very little to do.

I'm hoping that Tey's hair color change is a sign they're coming back soon!
