SNSD holds a birthday party for a little girl who suffers from cancer

SNSD helped to fulfil the wishes of a cancer girl by holding a special birthday party for her recently. This special event was part of SNSD's mini-album promotions for Genie and their second time fulfiling a wish as genies. The recipient of SNSD's 2nd wish went to young girl, Choi Hye Won who has been battling brain cancer for the past 7 years. Her mum had hoped to organize a meaningful birthday party for her and specially submitted an application for the wish to be granted.



On the 27th of last month, SNSD members, Yuri, Seo Hyun, Sunny and Hyo Yeon helped to grant the wish. Knowing that Hye Won loved the sea, they arranged for Hye Won to arrive in a helicopter accompanied by Sunny, Hyo Yeon and host Park Soo Hong before landing on a ship, where Yuri and Seo Hyun awaited. The 4 SNSD members also gave presents like books, etc, hoping that this special experience will help Hye Won recover fast.

Hye Won said, "It has always been my dream to visit the sea with my family. I am very happy and blissful that my SNSD unnies have granted me my wish." The videos and photos from the event was available for viewing from 11th August on SNSD's official website.
