I love that people seem to think that straight people don't have anal sex. Ever. It always seems to be the big argument when someone is a total homophobe but needs a reason to say they aren't. "Diseases! God made AID's to curse the gays!"

Honestly, being bisexual comes with a whole other set of prejudices than homophobia. I've gotten millions of questions asking me if I have a boyfriend/girlfriend at the same time, if my boyfriend knows I cheat on him with women (what??), if I can just choose one already. So much ignorance.

Well, I'm just glad there are more people coming out as gradually that will affect the Korean society as a whole and the gross comments like those netizen ones will eventually stop 'cause people will consider LGBT people same as all the other people. Mind you this will take long time to happen*, but every little helps. And actually when I look at the situation some years back, Korea has in fact walked considerably forwards from that point of time even if they still are far from accepting LGBT people as completely normal part of the society.

*I mean I don't think there even exists currently a society anywhere in the world, in which LGBT people wouldn't have to meet some kind of discrimination. So expecting to Korea get there right away would be stupid, when even Western countries still are far from that point regardless of having LGBT rights movement and talk going on considerably much longer time than in Korea.

I think Korea like a lot of countries the younger generations are more and more open to treating most lgbtq people like humans but I mean these are very common sterotypes of bisexual people around the world so I wouldn't be suprised if these were more commonly held opinions :(

Oh go fuck yourself. Being bisexual doesn't mean I throw myself at anything with a pulse just like being gay doesn't mean being attracted to all people of your gender.But ofc the privilege of not being generalized is reserved for straights only.

Let's not with the "Koreans are so close minded" crap b/c I see this kind of ignorance on the regular in my so called "progressive" country. More anti-queer/woman/poc legislation being put on the table (and passed) in 2013 than in the past decade entirely, so ya'll can miss me with that nonsense.

I am STOKED and so happy for him and the S. Korean LGBT population. I do have concerns for his career but there has been a lot of progress /visibility raised within the entertainment industry within the past year alone. Awesome :)
